Into Tramping then this is the place for you.
Many Day walks in the area.
Combine this with a bit of trout fishing then hike into Lake Daniels for the day.
Catch a trout ,Picnic by the lake then Hike back again.
Feeling tired then relax the next day in the Hot pools at Maruia Springs Thermal Resort.
Don't pay the higher accommodation rates at the Resort. Day passes available.

Lovely cottage . Superbly renovated with everything forcself catering . Large fridge . Only 30 minutes to Reefton . Rural setting sheep grazing with mountain scenery . Double glazing . Nice fire if cool. Recommended.

Great easy stay

We needed a pit stop between Nelson and Christchurch and this was perfect. No time to explore the area, other than a luxury dip in Mariua springs. There would be lots of great walks I’m sure! Cosy and very comfy place. Some road noise at night, as we opened windows when it got warm. However we all slept well. My daughter insisted I take her to look at buying sheets after she slept in the lovely big bed!

A great place for a short stay halfway between Nelson and Christchurch. Clean, neat and very comfortable. Even though on the main road the property is very quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Really nice cottage

Ignoring the main road right in front of the courage for a moment, this place is very tidy, functional and spacious. The surroundings are stunning and very close to Maruia springs.
