Great Place to Stay

Perfect little spot to stay. The beaches are beautiful and the house was clean, and tidy with books and games, which came in handy due to the bad weather! Will love to come and stay again!

Great spot to relax with the family

Great kiwi Bach to chill with the family! The beach is beautiful, can walk to the dairy and wood fire pizza joint. And short drive to lovely restaurants. Great spot, would love to return.

Lovely family bach

The bach/house is lovely great how you can open up all the front bifold doors. The front lawn is great. Fantastic beach. The photos made it look like it is on the beach front but it is a few houses back from the beach but it has has a back way to beach and is still close to beach and a great spot. We enjoyed our stay at matapouri

A lovely relaxing stay

A very easy property to relax into. A short walk to the beach. In a part of Matapouri that’s not overly crowded with cars and people like Morrison St. Everything you need, extras like BBQ and boogie boards provided, a big empty section for children to play on, an outdoor shower and private walkway to beach. Thanks so much for having us.

Brilliant Bach

This property was perfect for us. Heaps of room, great facilities, close to several great beaches, the estuary and local store. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend this property.

great relaxing place to stay

There we great games and toys available for the kids and a short walk to the beach down a private way. When we booked we actually thought this was on the waterfront based on the photo's - it isn't but don't let that deter you. It's a great place to stay. Very tidy and comfortable home with everything you could need and plenty of activities, walks and games on the beach. Thanks for having us.

Love this Place

This is the second time I have stayed at the Missing Jandal. Its large lawn area is perfect for backyard cricket and short safe walkway to beach means no busy roads to cross. The local store is well stocked, even Gluten free flour.! Hopefully will be back to make more family memories. Glenys

Great Location

Very relaxing stay and fantastic location for beach and short walk to Whale Bay. Very sunny decks. We kayaked, swam and walked everyday. Thanks for the use of your batch - We will be back 😎

Excellent location and great family bach

First time staying in Matapouri. Really enjoyed our time at the Bach. The Bach has an excellent location (2mins to beach) and big front lawn to play games. Bach is relatively simple (which is consistent with the description) which is what we wanted. We will stay again.

Lovely Kiwi bach inside and out - great location.

We had a lovely and relaxing holiday at The Missing Jandal. A very easy bach to find, access and stay in. There is plenty of room inside, and a lovely big deck and huge front lawn.

We had a wonderful holiday by the beach in this amazing property. The Missing Jandal is so homely and we totally relaxed. It is such an easy place to stay in.

Fantastic location

This property has a excellent deck with a great gazebo that can be set up easily. It has a bright decor and is very comfortable with all the appliances required. A wonderful front lawn for cricket. One cannot see the beach from the property (as indicated in the photo) but is a very short walk - maybe 2-3 minutes from the spectacular beach. The neighbour did decide to trim the hedge with a very loud device one morning, but apart from that it is very quiet. There is one inside shower and 1 outside shower. The beds are really comfortable. I did take issue with Bookabach who sent us just one email with the balance to pay under another company name which I did not recognise. The service fee is substantial so we will not use BookaBach again.

Perfect for a long weekend with mates

All 5 of us (2 couples and a singleton) were delighted and impressed by the bach, which comfortably housed all of us for 3 nights. We wished we could have stayed longer. There was enough room for everyone and it was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and enjoying ourselves. Wondrous proximity to beach and walks. We all agreed we'd stay there again. Pauline was very good to deal with, no fuss, very informative.
