The place was just what we had hoped for. Spacious, comfortable, and right in the heart of red river gorge activities. If you’re coming down with a group to climb or just explore the area, this is a great choice

It was great, everyone has fun, it was close to everything we had to do. Loved the binder for spots when we needed to go somewhere and didn’t know how far away it was.

There is nothing really great about the house but nothing really wrong either. The price was right as is the location to trails we wanted to hike. The house looks better in the pictures than in reality. More toilet paper would have been nice as more than 1 towel per person as we had to wash them. Overall the house was clean enough and served it's purpose. The local chicken/rooster family was nice to see in the yard. Don't forget to lift up on the screen entry door as it drags on the tresh hold.

The home has some renovations that have been done but still needs a bit of updating. Kitchen cabinets are original and could stand a refresh. Beds were comfortable but we noticed that there weren't any extra blankets. Some of the guests were cold so that was an issue. The other thing I would say is that they need to provide more towels and pillows. The roosters and turkeys were fun to watch. Loved the deck and the hot tub.

Great Location

We were close to the gorge, which is why we stayed there. The home was clean and had lots of nice updates.We had very strong rain storms while there and the basement got some water in it. It's not a big deal, but the owner never responded to me about it. It must have happened before. The bathrooms were very nice, but the master doesn't have a shower door due to the design, and it gets cold while showering, so be sure to latch the room door to keep it warmer! :)

Pros: great location, modern bathrooms, lots of space for gathering & eating, well maintained property, nice firepit and porch. The house stays nice and cool in the summer. Very minimal check-out instructions, thank you!Cons: A/C unit leaks in the basement which is also one of the living areas. Prop manager was aware and did not warn us or attempt to resolve it. The master bedroom door veneer is badly peeling, causing a very loud snapping sound when door is opened. The porch stormdoor scratches on the step, making a nails on a chalkboard sound.Neutral things to know in advance: The walls are paper thin, sound carries a lot in the house. No vacuum on site but there is a broom/dustpan. Hottub takes 24 hours to reach desired temperature. Roosters run wild on the property and crow 24hrs a day. The bedrooms have only light curtains so you will get bright light at dawn. No towels for cleaning or hottub available.
