W91: Stylish, modern, beach views, 100m to the beach

Whangaumu 91 is a well equipped, modern, multi-story house with multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces. The house is in a private setting in native bush, has stunning beach and sunset views, and is only a 3 minute walk to the beach. Wake up to the sounds of waves lapping on the beach below, and tuis in the trees outside.

The upper floor has the master bedroom (with king bed and ensuite bathroom), lounge, laundry and separate toilet, well equipped kitchen, and dining area. There is a balcony for sunbathing and views of the beach (dolphins and even orca can occasionally be seen in the bay below). There is also a large, private, paved terrace area with Weber gas BBQ, for outdoor dining and relaxing.

The middle floor has two more bedrooms (one bedroom has 1x queen bed, the other bedroom has 1x single bed (child access only) and 1x double bed in a bunk format (single on top, double is below), bathroom, and another lounge - so the kids can relax away from the parents. There is also a kitchenette with tea & coffee making supplies and a desk which can be used as a workspace for those having to catch up on emails while on holiday! The garage on the lower level has internal access to the house, and is where the kayaks, body boards and beach toys are found.

There are two televisions, one with Apple TV for guests to sign in to Netflix etc. The kids can watch DVDs on the other TV.

Unlimited, high speed Starlink internet is provided free.

Two single-person kayaks are provided, along with 2 adult lifejackets and 2 children’s lifejackets. We also provide two bodyboards, and even “bucket and spade” toys for the little ones to play in the sand.

There is a garage for one car, plus off-street parking. The driveway is steep but easily managed. There is room enough to park a small trailer boat/jet ski if you are comfortable reversing a trailer on a hill. Boats and jet skis can be launched from Whangaumu Bay directly below the house.

We provide initial bed linen and towels, and don't apply a standard cleaning charge: so no hidden costs!

- The house sleeps a maximum of seven people (6 adults maximum)
- There are steps inside and out, so it unfortunately may not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility, and young children may need to be supervised.
- Well-behaved dogs may be acceptable but NOT on the furniture - please contact the hosts to agree PRIOR to booking. The house has a fenced terrace area where dogs can be safely left outside if necessary.
