House overall was great. The ping pong table and pool table are misleading given they are children size and not full size.

Thank you for the kind words about your stay — I'm so glad the overall experience was positive. I’m sorry the ping-pong and pool tables were smaller than you expected. We’ll try to make their sizes clearer in the listing photos so future guests know what to expect. Thanks for the helpful feedback; we hope to welcome you again.

It was a very nice place to stay. Parking is difficult and very limited. Beds were extremely comfortable. Proximity to the beach was amazing. The house was very clean and beautiful inside.

Our stay was fine. We had to reassess sleeping arrangements because the bunk beds were so rickety they would sway if you barely touched them, so no one felt comfortable sleeping on top. It also felt very unwelcoming to have a laminated sign stapled to the front of the house that had a noise complaint hotline on it. We’re moms in our 30s so weren’t making noise… but it felt weird and very unwelcoming. There weren’t enough towels for two days for everyone. The hot tub was incredibly small. And nowhere on VRBO does it mention a two-car limit. I would recommend the listing be updated. Photos make this place look awesome. When you get inside you see general wear and tear that make you feel like you way overpaid (the dining table is absolutely shot). Not a bad stay, but not exceptional like we were expecting for the price we paid.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry the bunk beds felt unstable — we'll have maintenance inspect and either reinforce or replace them. I also apologize the sign at the front felt off-putting; the County requires that such a sign be posted on the home. We'll address the towel shortfall with housekeeping, speak to the homeowner about replacing the dining table, and work to make the parking requirements clearer on the listing. Thank you for the detailed feedback; we will absolutely use it to improve.

We were told we had to check in 2 hours late due to an issue at the property. The property is in a good location and has a nice layout. We were extremely disappointed to find the home dirty and not maintained. Photos were forwarded to the property manager.

Nice place

This house was spacious and the location to the beach and town was great. We especially loved the playroom downstairs and the different patios. Everyone had space to enjoy some quiet if they needed it. The laundry machines were great and in a great location. The barbeque was falling apart and not usable. Half the jets in the hot tub didn't work and we all felt really itchy after using it. There didn't appear to be any shock available or anything to treat the water. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend this house. Just don't plan on using the BBQ or hot tub.

Hi Dani! We are glad you had an enjoyable and comfortable stay, but we are sorry you encountered a few issues. We do see the hot tub was treated before your check-in, but will inquire about the jets. Also, had we been notified about issues with the BBQ, we would have sent our team over to assist. We value your booking and hope to provide you with a more polished stay in the future.

Good location, nice view

Overall we had a pleasant stay here! It’s very close to the beach and a cute food cart pod. We walked to the coffee stand each morning and loved it. The view from the decks were lovely and the natural light was a plus. A few things to know ahead of time: it’s a duplex and the neighbors are watching everything. We got a call about a kid crossing their driveway and a car parked in the coffee shop lot. Also, the kitchen isn’t well stocked if you plan on cooking. Plan to bring any special tools/spices (including olive oil, salt, pepper), and foil/saran wrap, Tupperware containers. The pillows are flat, so bring yours from home if that’s something that would bother you. If you’re planning on spending all day at the beach/exploring this is a great landing spot. Is walking distance to downtown Rockaway and about 20 minutes to manzanita. Lots of great options!

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the location, natural light, and easy access to the beach and local spots. We appreciate your helpful notes on the kitchen supplies, pillows, and neighbor sensitivities—these are great points for future guests to keep in mind, and we’ll also review what updates we can make to improve the experience. It’s wonderful to know you found the home a comfortable landing spot for exploring the area. We’d be happy to host you again on your next trip to Rockaway!
