Welcome to Matilda's, an absolute beachfront sanctuary for a sun, sand and surf filled getaway!

Named after a Third Fleet Convict Ship, the MV Matilda took refuge on Callala Beach to make repairs on her way to Sydney Cove and in doing so became the first European Vessel to enter Jervis Bay.

With the white sands of Callala Beach as your backyard and the pristine aquamarine waters of Jervis Bay as your playground, this vibrant home is your ticket to a perfect beachfront retreat.

Matilda’s offers an unforgettable experience as the sounds of surf lulls to sleep up to 13 guests across its 3 cozy bedrooms which sleep 9 in the main house and 4 guests can be accommodated in the separate 2 bedroom studio.

Here, you'll find a home as inviting as the ocean breeze that flows through its windows. With 2 bathrooms, including a new bathroom conveniently located in the seperate studio, just steps away from the main house, there’s plenty of space for everyone. The house is fitted with reverse cycle ducted air conditioning, ensuring your comfort on the hottest days and cosy and warm in winter. The studio bedrooms have ceiling fans and split system reverse cycle air conditioning

Step out into the back garden, and you're literally on the beach! Matilda’s offers direct access to the sandy shores, making it a paradise for beach lovers. And if you have a boat, there's ample space to park it right there with you on the premises.

Your furry friends are welcome too with payment of the appropriate pet fee for their stay. They can enjoy direct access to the “Off Leash” section of the beach. Your dogo’s can join you in all the beach fun and then when it’s time to rest there is a fully fenced and enclosed courtyard and grassed area safely away from the street, driveway and the beach, ensuring they can safely relax while you soak up the sun.

Relax on the covered back deck whilst keeping an eye on the kids playing on the beach.

Inside, the fun never stops. Challenge your friends and family to friendly competitions with the board games provided.

Create the perfect beachfront ambiance with your favourite tunes using the Bluetooth speaker while you fire up the BBQ for alfresco feasting on the deck, complete with the sound of the gentle waves lapping in the background.

After a day of beach-combing and sunbathing, rinse off the salt and sand in the outdoor shower before you relax in the comfort of your beachfront paradise. As the day winds down, gather around for a cozy evening indoors and enjoy complimentary Netflix, or simply let the sound of the waves serenade you to sleep.
