Quiet and Private: Perfect for couples or solo travellers who want a peaceful environment after a day of skiing or anything else. If it's winter, there are a number of ski fields close by.

We are 10 minutes from Fairlie and the Fairlie pies. 20 mins from Mt Dobson.
40 minutes from Tekapo and the beautiful Lake.
90 minutes from the majestic Aoraki / Mount Cook.

We offer a comfortable apartment with all the amenities. Laundry, full kitchen and separate lounge.

PLEASE NOTE: We have pets that include a GSD and three cats - Beware - you might have to pat them and say hello!

Exceeded expectations. Beautiful comfortable warm cosy private location. Well stocked with utensils for cooking. Hosts were very friendly including cats. No wifi was a bit challenging and it is a 10-15 min drive from Fairlie.

Everything was excellent but I had not noted that there was no Wi-Fi or 4G signal at all. But everything else was perfect - very comfortable, clean, and very private.

So quiet a kilometre off the highway. A little cottage set among trees and shrubs up a gravel driveway. Two friendly dogs. German Shepherd and ? Labrador. Both understand “Go Home” and a pointing finger. Even a smart black cat later. No Wi-Fi no Lebara signal. But close to Fairlie. Lovely.

It was peaceful and immediately made me feel relaxed to overlook the hills, the cows in the nearby paddock & the trees and gardens surrounding the cabin; I wish I had spent my whole 5 days in the Fairlie/Geraldine area here. It was clean & modern, well equiped kitchen, really comfortable bed and couch, great shower, good heat pump. While there was no WiFi, sometimes in life that is good; I didn’t find it an issue. Free to air TV is available. Oh, and the visit by the beautiful dog and a very friendly and healthy looking cat that obviously are familiar with the cabin was nice.

Andrea and Lyndon, have been living here in the rural South Canterbury for over two years and we love the community and environment we live in. Both are semi retired and have an active lifestyle. We love the peace, our pets, our cattle, and the friendly community we live in.
We have a great garden which always needs something doing to it, cooking reading and sometimes landscape painting.

We wanted to live in the country and close to the fly fishing (Lyndon is a keen fisher).
The city is too much for us, the traffic and noise etc.

We are close to lots of interesting things, close to the ski fields and many rivers for fishing.
We are off the beaten track and offer an unique and private experience.
