Directions to the property were confusing, not clear enough signs. The hut was too small for two people, no room to moveOutside areas nice with lush surrounds and enough firewood to make a camp fire. All in all a peaceful site, probably to early in the season., very cold!We think, it was too expencive for what could be expected .
I absolutely loved my stay in the cabin! Brian was an incredible host and went above and beyond to answer my questions and make my stay wonderful. One small note, there is no curtain or door between the entry way and the tub and toilet, so keep that in mind if you prefer privacy. But with birds and cows for neighbors, didn’t have to worry about it too much. I hope to return one day!

The hut was a small room but the outside bathroom was amazing.
Unfortunately the day I arrived there was a huge storm and the power was off. It did come on for short periods so i could boil the kettle etc. A great setting, private and comfortable. Im pretty sure someone has put a squeaky toy under the mattress ☺️
Even without power I enjoyed my stay. Pet friendly.
The property and surrounds were beautiful. I absolutely loved sitting outside surrounded by nature. I loved that the bed had an electric blanket as that was nice and cosy in the winter, however the only other heating in the room was from a fire stove/fireplace outside on the verandah. The cabin was lovely and warm while the fire was going however when I woke up in the morning the fire had gone out and inside the cabin was very cold. It was unfortunate that the shower and toilet were over a bridge about 30m away from the cabin itself, apart ftom a toilet and bath outside on the verandah.I would higly recommend a stay during summer for nature lovers as the outdoor amenities would not be an issue.
