Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Single Family-Sleeps 3-4)
We, (Jen and Jerry)together with our parents (Diane and Dick) would love to welcome you to Round Prairie Farm. We take pride in making your vacation cabin a special place to kick back or a home base to explore the Whitefish area.
Jen purchased this Cabin in 2000
Why Jen chose Whitefish
Whitefish is such a unique community that has something to offer for everyone. We enjoy living so close to such an inviting town, yet having the space and peaceful surroundings of Round Prairie Farm. We are reminded on a daily basis how beautiful life is here!
What makes this Cabin unique
Agrotourism isn't just for Europe! Our farm is always full of life and we welcome you to be a part of it. All of the animals enjoy the best possible care and are a joy to watch as they romp in the pastures. You can gather fresh eggs from the hen house or herbs from the garden, have a campfire in the cabin yard, or take a walk into the woods. There is also world class mountain biking just across the road at Spencer freeride trails.

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon! We loved every minute of our stay here! The cabin was cozy, clean, and so welcoming. It is perfect for a couple or a small family to enjoy Montana in! The kitchen area was well-stocked for any of our meal needs, and there were some basic ingredients already there (flour, sugar, etc.). We used the grill more often than the kitchen - which worked amazingly (even in pouring rain we accidentally found out). The fire pit and picnic table were perfect for end of the night relaxation. The upstairs was cozy and comfortable - with the windows open the cabin stayed very cool at night. Overall, this was a perfect place for us to stay! We were greeted by both Diane and Jen. They were so welcoming and accommodating! Diane made sure we got some farm fresh eggs for breakfast - which were delicious! Jen made sure we had enough firewood for the week and that we were not in need of anything at any time. Jen was also VERY gracious prior to our arrival - with COVID-19 there was a chance we would have had to reschedule as Montana was not open to out-of-state guests. She was wonderful to work with and kept us updated as soon as she was able. We were very thankful when we heard that we would be able to continue our trip as planned. We would both HIGHLY recommend this cabin to anyone heading to Whitefish/GNP area and will be looking to stay here again if we are able to make another trip out.
Peaceful, adorable cabin close to town
I stayed here with my mom and my dog and we loved it! It was the perfect place to stay for us! We just about melted with its cuteness when we opened the door after our long drive. The fire was going, it was so cozy, and they even left us farm fresh eggs!
The space is set up really well, with a full kitchen, an eating area overlooking the woods, and a small living area with couch and fireplace. Upstairs there was a double bed and twin bed, and while they were in the same room, the double was behind a wall giving it more privacy. The bathroom was downstairs and stairs quite steep so keep that in mind if traveling with anyone who uses the bathroom in the night. It has a great deck, outdoor fire pit, and table if the weather is nice. The view from all of the windows was also really pretty! You can see the chickens and sheep through one window, the horses, trees and a beautiful aspen (or was it a birch?) out of another window. It feels very private and serene.
We found the location perfect. It was a 10 minute drive into downtown Whitefish but still felt remote and very quiet. The farm is also darling and fun to walk around.
Jen was great to communicate with and gave us excellent recommendations for things to do in the region. (Must go to Homestead Brewing if you like beer!)
I can’t say enough about this place, we will definitely be recommending it to any friends who travel out that way! Thanks for the great stay!
Enjoyed every minute of our time spent in the cabin and farm. Wish we could’ve spent more time at the farm visiting with the farm animals and the precious pups (Fin, Atlas, Beck and shy Ruby) and cat (Spice I think). We really enjoyed our eye opening conversations with Diane about farm life in mountainous areas such as Whitefish and Jen was very accommodating.
Our accommodations had everything that we would possibly need. Loved having access to a washer and dryer also. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you both so much.
We will return!!
The owner was kind enough to take time to teach our granddaughter about the sheep. We all loved the dogs - Beck, Ruby, Fin & Atlas! Very warm & personable owner - a pleasure to meet! Soaked in the quiet and serene surroundings. Can't wait to return!
This was the perfect setting. Great views, fire pit and amazing star glazing. Close enough to Glacier Park, yet far enough away from all the crowds. Fresh eggs for breakfast. Love it all!
Hiking and biking trails from the cabin door, wood fired sauna.
