Stay in the center of the action in this one-of-a-kind place.

This suite is in the 1st Capitol Mansion Boutique Hotel. This hotel is located in the Historic area of Saint Charles, MO.

This suite is located on the 2nd floor of the building and features a large family room with a smart TV. Plenty of seating for 4 people. In the large bedroom you will find a king bed and another smart tv. Off of the bedroom is a private balcony that you can relax on. The 2nd bed for the unit is a queen air mattress that is located in the closet with everything you will need for it.

This building is a short walk to Historic Main Street and when you walk down to it you will be in the center of Main Street. You can turn to the left and that is where more of the restaurants and bars are located or to the right to go look in the boutique shops.
Quiet hours start at 10pm.
Parties of any kind will be subject to damages and $250 fee.
Smoking in the house will result in a $250 fee. This include tobacco, drugs of any kind and vaping.
Any pets on the property will be a $250 fee.
Guest are required to email all Government ID and Plate numbers or cars on the on the property.
This unit will be allowed to have 2 cars in the parking lot.

Beautifully converted space!

I rushed to find a booking for a trip and seriously lucked out that this unit was available. Everything was excellent, from the patio to the pillows to the shower.Thank you!

The bedroom had these broken shades and no drapes of any kind to block another’s view or the light. The apartment building had groups of men hanging around the entry ways which was unsettling for us on a girls weekend. I did not feel safe there so I chose not to stay there. I notified the host with no response. My cleaning deposit was not even returned even tho it was not used

I was unable to access the porch because the deadbolt was jammed or stuck. After several attempts to contact the host, I was finally able to speak to him via text. He assured me he would correct the problem the day after my arrival. That did not happen, there was no further communication from him.

We reached out to John to inquire about extending our stay by one night. Although it took some time to hear back, he was very kind once we connected and offered us a discount for the additional night. The home is in a great location—an easy walk to downtown St. Charles—and the house itself, including the detailed woodwork, is beautiful.Unfortunately, we were disappointed by several issues upon arrival. There is a hole in the living room ceiling, possibly from an old heating vent, with peeling paint around it. The towel bar in the bathroom was broken, and the lamp in the bedroom is damaged and won’t stay upright. Many of the blinds in the VRBO are broken and need to be replaced. The bedroom would greatly benefit from blackout curtains, as the streetlights make it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.Additionally, one evening the people in the unit below were cooking, and the horrible smell filled both our room and the entire building. I reached out to John to ask whether there was an apartment beneath ours, where someone could be cooking; however, I did not receive a response. This was our second stay at this VRBO, and while there are things we truly enjoy about the property, I’m not sure we will book again unless these issues are addressed.
