Rustic Cabin

The cabin was just as described. It was primitive, with serene surroundings. Pretty views all around and wild horses came to visit. There was a travel trailer on the property with people coming and going all weekend. Owner said it was private and far from neighbors, but didn't mention the travel trailer they also rent out. We were very surprised. People were nice enough though. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Nice to get away from it all!

Property was outside of town and had a mountain view. We expected to find a finished cabin with electricity and port-a-potty, with no running water. What we found was a odd, mostly finished cabin. The inside was clean. The outside had quite a bit of stuff left around. Broken ladders, wood scraps, broken rocker. There were small solar lights to light the path to port-a-potty. There was a 5 gallon bucket in the port-a-potty for waste. They did leave us several gallons of useable water in a tank for our use. Windows have no screens, which doesn’t work well after dark. You will want to bring a fan. One window fell out when we tried to use it. We weren’t given a key, so when we left for the day we had to take our electronics and such with us. There is a microwave and George Foreman grill, but electrical service was still under construction so only small things could be used, like chargers and a fan. The small fridge was draining on the system. You will need a lamp if you want to read in bed. There are 2 small lights, one in the kitchen and one above bed in an unfinished loft area. The owners were very responsive and friendly. There was a double bed and a futon to sleep 4 comfortably. All in all we did enjoy are time away and this little cabin has great potential!
