Nestled in the heart of Lower Sackville, Harmony Haven offers a warm, welcoming stay for adult guests seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of homestyle hospitality. Perfectly located just 13 miles from Halifax Stanfield International Airport and a short drive from downtown Halifax, Dartmouth, and major attractions like the Halifax Citadel and Maritime Museum, our home provides easy access while maintaining a peaceful, residential feel.

About the Space
Our home is shared with myself and my husband, and we take pride in offering guests a clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged environment. You’ll have access to:

A fully equipped shared kitchen featuring a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, kettle, and essential kitchenware.

A cozy shared living room on the main floor—ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.

A shared full bathroom on the upper level.

A private lower-level suite with its own living area and bathroom (subject to availability).

Three comfortable, private bedrooms, perfect for couples, families, or friends traveling together.

Each guest room includes clean linens, fresh towels, and a relaxing atmosphere designed to help you feel right at home.

Guests also enjoy free Wi-Fi, free private parking, and access to our garden and shared lounge.

House Rules & Guest Guidelines
We aim to provide a peaceful and respectful environment for all guests. Please review the following guidelines before your stay:

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Late check-ins after 9 PM: $15 per hour

Early check-ins before 4 PM (subject to availability): $15 per hour

Check-out: by 11:00 AM

Check-out steps include washing used dishes, hanging towels, and securing windows and doors.

House Etiquette
⚛️Respect: Please treat our home with care and consideration.

🍽️Cleanliness: Wash and tidy any used dishes after meals. An unwashed dish fee of $10/night may apply.

👟Shoes: Kindly remove your shoes upon entry and place them on the shoe tray provided.

🌙 Quiet Hours & House Etiquette:
At Harmony Haven, we strive to provide a serene and restful experience for all our guests. To help maintain this peaceful environment, we kindly ask that you observe the following guidelines:

No Parties or Events: To preserve the tranquility of our space, gatherings and parties are not permitted.

😴Quiet Hours: Begin at 10:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum to ensure a restful night for everyone.

Kitchen Access: For the comfort of all, the kitchen is closed for cooking after 9:00 PM.

Evening Movement: To avoid disruption during quiet hours, we discourage frequent entries and exits after 9:00 PM. We recommend returning to the property by 10:00–11:00 PM and remaining indoors for the evening. This helps uphold the calm ambiance and respects the rest of other guests and your hosts.

Please note that Harmony Haven is an adults-only retreat designed to offer a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in making this a restful space for all.

Amenities & Usage
🧺Laundry if wish to use: $25 per load

Towels: Kindly hang your wet towels on the hooks located behind the door in your room.

Appliances: Personal appliances such as space heaters or portable AC units are not permitted.

Smoking: Strictly non-smoking indoors (including vapes). Smoking is permitted only on the front deck or near the main entrance.

Guest Policy
Visitors: Only registered guests may stay at the property. Additional guests must be approved in advance.

Pets: Not permitted.

Couples: For room arrangement purposes, please let us know if any guests are couples.

Cooking Policy
Please note that cooking meat (including bacon, sausage, chicken, fish, beef, pork, lamb, or shellfish) is not allowed in the kitchen. Guests may enjoy meat-based meals in their rooms if ordered from outside.
While our house rules currently do not allow cooking meat in the shared kitchen out of respect for all guests and household members, we do allow cooking of vegetarian meals and eggs.
