Peaceful, comfortable getaway - surrounded by gardens and forest....

Located on a small, forested acreage near the beautiful Tsolum River, the suite is on the first floor of a quiet, owner-built home. It's a peaceful, calm place to relax, read and take a break from the busy-ness of life.

The dining and living area has lots of windows and the kitchen is fully-equipped for guests who enjoy cooking. There's a shower in the bathroom and an outdoor tub, although it's not accessible during the winter months!

Mount Washington ski resort and the beautiful Paradise Meadows trail in Strathcona Park are just a short drive away, and it's a 10 minute drive to the ocean. We're always happy to offer suggestions about nearby walks, bicycle trails and parks.

There are plenty of great places to dine out, shop, enjoy local art and music in Courtenay and Cumberland, which are both about 20 minutes away. The I-Hos Gallery, located on the site of the original K'omoks village, features a wonderful collection of traditional and contemporary Northwest Coast artwork designed and made by Indigenous artists.
