Beautiful Small Home

Beautiful and well appointed small home very close to Courtney and Cumberland. We stayed here with our two teens and were very comfortable. Seaside and forest walking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and will stay again next time we are in the area.

Great stay!

A very thoughtfully designed & appointed home, Sunnyside House has a lovely view of the ocean. Our host Melissa was kind, thoughtful & quick to respond. A great place to call home base when in the Cortenay/Comox/Cumberland area. We hope to return some day.

Fam visit

My mom and brother stayed at your VRBO and really enjoyed it. They loved the view, the beautiful deck, the vaulted ceilings and open concept was all lovely.

Cozy and convenient

A nicely designed and comfortable small home! We found it conveniently close to Courtney but with an out of town feeling. Quick access to forest nature trails and a nice view towards the ocean.

Perfect Comox/Courtenay Getaway

Melissa and Peter have created a wonderful property for an enjoyable getaway. This was the fourth VRBO property that we have stayed at in order to visit our young grandchildren. This was by far the nicest we have occupied. The views of the water and the marina at Comox in the distance were very relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to be able stay there again.

Perfect holiday home

We had a wonderful 12 night stay at the Sunnyside house. The place is sun-filled, beautifully designed and decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were both super helpful and accommodating (even added a grab bar in the shower to help with our mobility needs)! The location was perfect for exploring the ocean side trails and area, and we appreciated the great recommendations from Melissa. We loved hearing the resident chickens and seeing the soaring eagles and ocean tides. Thank you for everything, we look forward to coming back!

Absolutely lovely stay

This house is tidy, spacious, well designed, and overall lovely. My family loved the deck, open living room and kitchen, and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

A real jewel

This is one of the best places we've rented. The house itself is almost new, beautifully designed, meticulously crafted, and generously equipped. The host is communicative, helpful, friendly. We think it's a strong 5 star property.

Fantastic property! Beautifully designed guest house with full privacy, convenient location, pretty views and really well equipped. Melissa’s attention to detail and generous stocking of the kitchen made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Perfect in Every Way

The "small house" is beautifully appointed with a lovely view and all the amenities one could want in a home away from home. The location feels rural but is only a 10 minute walk through a wooded area to Walmart. It is close to N. Island Highway and has convenient access to all part of Courtenay and Comox. The owners are very accommodating yet give you total privacy. I highly recommend this property for a single person or small family.
