About this property

Cute Kiwi Bach - Kairakau Sleeps up to 15

Enjoy a stay at our cute bach at beautiful Kairakau beach.
One minute walk to a gorgeous safe sandy beach or estuary, beach walkway one house over.
The bach is right opposite the community tennis court with a children's play ground on the beach front.
Wake up to the delightful sound of the native birds singing, Kereru do cheeky flybys.
Take your boat out, dive for paua and crays, fish from the beach. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to rustle up those iconic beach dinners, plus a 3 Burner BBQ.
Bask in the sun off either deck.
Main bach sleeps 7, garage 5, sleepout 3.
You will need to bring your own linen- sheets/sleeping bags, pillow cases, towels etc, duvets or blankets on all beds. Sleepout does not have power connected to it.
50 minutes from Hastings, 35 minutes to the local shops in Waipawa, 20 minutes to the Patangata Country pub.
Wood provided for the joy of the fireplace in winter.
Under kiwi bach tradition you are expected to clean the house and do the dishes before departure. We do not charge a host fee as our property is usually not inspected in between guests.
A delightful place to relax and enjoy life.

Welcoming hosts, everything in order as they stated. Difficulty turning on the kitchen taps, and there were quite a few cobwebs inside which made it slightly unpleasant, but otherwise a cute bach, great location and setting, and perfect place to spend time with grandchildren.Thankyou hosts for our stay!

Relaxing stay

Loved the location and beach. House was a typical bach. Great wood fire. Everything there you need plus great books and games. Didnt use garage or sleep out.
