This stunning new town house is located in Central Christchurch; only an eight minute walk from the Margaret Mahy playground and 15 minutes from The Terrace (a popular bar and restaurant strip in town). Guests have private access to the property including a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, clothes line, bathroom, furnished outdoor area, Japanese bidet toilet and one bedroom with a queen bed.

I give my guests space but am available when needed
We have a self check in system so it is not necessary for guests to meet me, however I only live 10 minutes away so if you have any issues I can be there ASAP. Always happy to answer any questions.

Our Airbnb is located in Central Christchurch, right next door to Briscoes homeware store, ideal if you`re making a permanent move to Christchurch. The CBD is only a 18 minute walk away, tops, and the Margaret Mahy playground is a short 8 minute walk away. The area is secure and there are generally people out and about. We are also across the road from Total Body Concept day spa; a nice treat if you`re here on holiday.

Getting around
Driving: Christchurch has very little traffic so is easy to get around, just beware we have many one way streets! Sometimes it can be hard to find a park in town during the day so it`s best to walk if you are not traveling outside the city center.

Public Transport: Our public bus interchange (or station) is on the corner of Litchfield and Colombo street. If you are paying by cash one fare within zone 1 (zone 2 is out in the country) will cost you $2 for a child and $4 for an adult. You will have one free transfer that is valid for two hours after the purchase of your ticket, this gives you one free ride upon presenting the bus driver your ticket.

Shared Economy Transport: We have shared economy `taxis` such as Uber and Ola, these are much cheaper than standard taxis. We also have Lime electric scooters which are a fun and cheap way to get around, just be considerate of the other cars, cyclists and pedestrians using our roads and footpaths. I

We have strict rules in place to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbours.
Please refrain from making loud noise outside between 9 pm and 7am.If you are unable to comply with these rules we ask you not to bookwith us.
Additionally parties or gatherings will result in immediate cancellation with no refund.
Check out time is strictly 10am late checkouts must be requested 24hours in advance.
Smoking is not prohibited inside the property and any damages or extra cleaning caused by smoking or pets will result in a $200 fee.
We expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition and any additional cleaning required will be charged at $60 per hour.
Any damages spills or stains must be reported and may result in a charge for replacement or cleaning.Thanks for your understanding.
