Makino Cottage is a newly-built, air-conditioned chalet just 20 minutes north-west of Feilding. It is a self-contained unit comprising 2 full sized bedrooms with queen beds, bathroom, open plan living-room and fully-equipped kitchen.

It can comfortably sleep 2-6 people and is ideally suited for families or two couples.

The covered decking is the perfect place to sit and relax with a chance to catch sight of the native birds that frequent the nearby flaxes and cabbage trees. In the evening, enjoy the clear star-filled sky and hear the call of our local morepork.

The cottage is close to both the Manfield Park and Raceway especially for Central District Field Days and Central Energy Trust Arena, part of which is home to Robertson Prestige International Speedway.

Just five minutes away from the Rangitikei River and close to Hawkestone Golf Club, Makara MX Track and Mt. Lees Reserve Bush Walk.
