Russ is semi-retired and teaches the Capstone Course at UBCO in Kelowna. He also mentors tech startupsâhis version of retirement includes staying curious and involved! My career journey has been a blend of hospitality and communications. Iâve owned and operated a few B&Bs and vacation rentals over the years. Before that, I worked in marketing communications, trade shows, and technical editing for tech companies in California.
We love to travel and explore this beautiful planet. Whether itâs hiking, biking, or soaking in the views of a desert or lake, we appreciate this awesome planet. The Wyndham Grand Desert is a timeshare condo hotel. When we visit the Las Vegas area we tend to travel beyond its boundaries! We've boated on Lake Mead, hiked in the magnificent parks, and generally explored by car. Vegas is a stop on the way to or from other wonderful desert parks and geologic formations! If you haven't visited the Grand Canyon, we highly recommend it.
Sedona, AZ is one of the most popular sites to visit, It can be a destination on the way to or from Las Vegas. Reserve an accommodation with us in Vegas and get a reduced rate in Sedona at another, spectacular Wyndham condo resort in the heart of red rock country.

The Wyndham Grand Desert is not a typical hotel room. The condo style accommodations are a home away from home complete with kitchen, frig, d/w, w/d, modern bathroom, living and dining areas, which we much prefer. Parking is free, a gratis shuttle service to some casino, and an eye candy walk to the Las Vegas strip.
