Riverside Family Cabin • Outdoor Bath • Waitomo

Cascade Cabin is our larger riverside retreat for families, friends or couples wanting a little more room.

Cascade is our 50m² two-bedroom cabin, tucked away on our family farm near Waitomo. Designed for proper holidays — slow mornings, long lunches on the covered deck and plenty of time outside.

Swim or kayak in your private river pool, soak together in the outdoor bath, try your luck trout fishing, or warm up beside the indoor fire. There’s a full kitchen, outdoor kitchen, double outdoor hot showers and plenty of space to settle in.

Explore Waitomo and the many day trips nearby, wander the farm, meet the sheep — or simply stay put. Some of our favourite days here involve going nowhere at all.

Staying 4+ nights? We’d love to take you on a complimentary private farm tour, including film locations and parts of our farm we don’t open to the public. Subject to farm life and availability; not offered over Christmas/New Year.

Cascade cabin was beautiful and relaxing stay for the three of us. The views are amazing and it's peaceful surroundings were just what we needed to chill and recharge. Floating and drifting around the river on the front step of Cascades beautifully designed abode was ethereal. The cabin contained everything we needed and more. Loved the use of the hammock under the tree with the river flowing past. And the outdoor bath under the mass of stars was awe inspiring. Really comfortable beds. Also had a cute treat of little lambs coming up to us, they were so friendly. Thank you for our stay.
