Please note that our home strictly enforces a NO PARTY policy. We do not accept Bucks or Bachelor parties without prior approval. While The Miller’s on Kent II is an excellent choice for families and groups attending weddings or reunions in Sydney, it is not suitable for events like a Bucks weekend.

THINGS TO KNOW
*Check-in details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.
*We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.
*The fireplaces are for display only and cannot be used.
*Portable heaters are provided throughout the home for comfort during cooler days

*The dishwasher is currently not working and not advertised as an available amenity.
*There is no dedicated parking spot. Only paid meter parking is available for 2 hours. Kent Street is quite large, and if needed, High Street, right in front of the property, offers additional parking options. You can park at Kent Street and High Street overnight for free from 10pm to 8 am then you have to pay a parking ticket up to 2 hours after that.
HOUSE RULES
* Check-in after 3 pm; check-out before 10 am. Fees may apply for changes. Approval required first.
* No smoking allowed
* Strictly No parties or events allowed.
* No Pets allowed.
* Guests must follow NSW Short Term Legislation.
* All guests are required to accept our booking Terms and Conditions in the Pre-arrival check-in form, as well as provide a valid ID and card details for security.
* Max 10 overnight guests, 5 day visitors, 15 people total at any time.
* Only approved guests/visitors allowed (written permission required).
* Strict no-smoking policy; $500 fine may apply.
* Respect neighbours; keep noise low, especially after 9 pm.
* Breaking rules may result in eviction without refund (STRA terms apply).
* Date changes allowed only if more than 1 month before check-in, subject to approval/surcharges.
* Pets allowed with prior approval; $110 fee per stay; keep pets off furniture.

House was very clean and well appointed. Shower on first floor has a shower curtain but the bathroom is so tiny that water goes everywhere.The main thing we had an issue with was finding outlets - especially any near mirrors- there were a lot of extension cords to plug in fans and hair appliances but it was not convenient.

Fantastic location, large kitchen and living space, but to accommodate 10 people, the bathrooms aren’t adequate. No space to hang towels or put toiletries, no mirror, you have to sit sideways on the downstairs toilet. Mould around basins and showers in both bathroom and kitchen. You are literally paying for location on this one..really needs a freshen up.
The location was excellent!The back courtyard could do with some care and the back gate is broken and dangerous.The rug under the tv room table was a little gross feeling and probably needs to be removed.There was a lot of mould around the seal of the kitchen sink.Bedding, numbers of beds, pillows and towels were excellent!Thank you

The property is “tired” as compared to pics. We didn’t realise there was no air conditioning & the rooms were very warm although plenty of fans provided. Could have been cleaner & a couple of mattresses very uncomfortable. All that aside it is a brilliant location.
Great communication with host and very helpful. Great for a group of friends in an epic location. Walk to everything and plenty of carparks nearby.

There seemed to be lots of cockroaches in the kitchen, around the kettle and near the fridge
Host interaction was poor.Bathrooms not adequate for 7 peopleNo air conditioning, fans provided were ok but assistance for 2 extension cords to move the fans around was ignored.
Overall the property was satisfactory. It was small for 8 people with only 2 bathrooms. The main floor bathroom was very small and a tall person could not use the toilet with the door closed because their knees were against the door. The shower had very low water pressure and the shower curtain didn't reach down to the floor. This allowed water to splash into the toilet area and even run under the door into the hallway. I rolled a towel and place it under the shower curtain to minimize the splash zone. I also think the cleaning staff could and should do a better job. It didn't look like the floors and rugs had been sweep or vacuumed. The refrigerator door gaskets need to be cleaned or replaced. There are two safety issues that should be addressed. The up stairs tub needs a slip mat to prevent falls and some of the window locks are broken. For 8 senior citizens, the stairs were a bit much and having to come down from the 3rd floor to go to the bathroom is tough during the night. All in all it met our needs but has so much more potential. We didn't need the laundry so the washer being inoperable was not un issue. We did see a few bugs but it wasn't terrible.
Good location. Comfortable beds. Dishwasher not working and no plug for kitchen sink. Told at check-in the washing machine wasn’t working and discovered no hot water in laundry sink. No clothes dryer or clothes line. No out side garbage bins so rubbish sat in the dirty unkempt patio area. With two small children the absence of a convenient way to wash and dry clothes was problematic. The cost for our 4 days, given the above, was disappointing.

If all you care about is location, then this is the place for you. However, we stayed for 6 nights and found the place disgusting, from caked on mold and shredded shower curtain to fans covered in black grime and stained living room rug to gross carpet and overgrown back yard. The clothes storage provided in the bedrooms were dirty metal & canvas racks and we had to cover ours with a towel to use it.The second bathroom was so small you either had to leave the door open or sit sideways on the toilet. And if you used its shower, the water flowed out into the hallway. There wasn’t anywhere to hang towels anywhere in the house. The dishwasher was broken but no dish racks were provided until requested. The washing machine was broken (not mentioned in the listing) and we were told the best thing would be to pay to send our laundry out - no offer of reduced fee or reimbursement. The house has no A/C so we had to use the disgusting fans until they were replaced (we assembled), it was 105F out our first day. Fortunately, it cooled outside but windows and front "screen" door didn't have screens and barely opened plus the neighbor would smoke outside so we had to close the bedroom windows.The management company was responsive but I would have fired them long ago because a significant amount of the issues with this place were due to their inattentive care/cleaning of the property. Do NOT rent this place!
