Not as advertised. Stay away. We didn't sleep here, we left after seeing the place and didnt return. Still fully charged without a refund.This space is not where you want to go for a romantic getaway.My female partner arrived at the home. It looked old and unkept on the exterior. She said it felt "ghetto" and it certainly didnt help that a fight was happening at the house next door, where she was separated from it by a small chainlink fence.Once she entered, she smelled stale cigarette smoke, an extremely outdated home that had wall repairs visible. We took photos.Old oily shag carpet was present.After looking at our photos, and their photos, we don't believe we would have ever considered staying. They have zoomed in on small portions of the home to make it appear nice. It is NOT.My partner told me she could not stay at this location because of the neighbourhood safety and the poor quality space.I brought these concerns to the host and his response was "do the doors and windows lock?" THAT WAS IT.I escalated this with VRBO over ten days ago now, was told i would get resolution in 48 hours... with no response or refund since.We made EXPENSIVE EMERGENCY ALTERNATIVES that took our stay from 420 to over 1300 for a three day visit with no excursions.Not pleased with the host or VRBO at this time. Choose wisely.
