Great stay at the end of the valley in Faroe. Comfortable, cozy and well stocked - located in a beautiful valley near many waterfalls and hiking trails.
The property lived up to and exceeded our expectations from the online info Other than the mix up over double booking the first 3 days.

About the host
Hosted by Torgerd Dam
I am from The Faroe Island. I have been a host for a few years now and I find it exciting to rent out to different people. likewise, I myself love to travel around the world and experience the world in a more present way than one does with the more traditional travels. When renting this cottage I am always available in case there is anything my guests need to know more about. Sinserely Torgerð
Why they chose this property
Saksun is a wonderfully remote hillside village and is one of the most worthwhile destinations in the country. Known for its tranquil atmosphere, the tiny village of 14 inhabitants offers amazing views of the surrounding mountains. It is obvious to explore the mountains, which are right outside the door of the cottage. The Nearest village, which is Hvalvik is located 11 km from Saksun. There are no fixed local buses running to Saksun. Nearest shopping opportunities are located in Oyrabakka, about 15 km from Saksun. To get the most out of the holiday, it's important that you have a car so you can get around. There is free parking associated with the house. With a car you can easily drive around the Faroe Island and explore the nature.
