Alvin was quick to respond to questions. We found the rental to be very clean and full of amenities. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea, which was appreciated in the cold weather. The bed was cozy, and the sheets were very clean. We felt safe and comfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay. The suite is well-furnished, exceptionally clean and very cozy. The host is very responsive and provided several small touches and amenities that really make it feel like home. It’s a very convenient location to access downtown activities.

The place was very clean and well stocked with all essential items. The only knock was there was no temperature control or windows that could open so it was pretty warm in the space during a hotter YK summer.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The apartment is well laid out, very clean and very well equipped and just a few minutes walk from the town centre. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is excellent. The hosts are friendly, helpful and very approachable. We would be very happy to stay here again when visiting Yellowknife.

Great accommodations close to shops and a short ride to the airport. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed and nice bath. Easy to locate and the directions to enter the property were clear and easy. Alvin Jay is easy to reach and very accommodating.

Great stay in the heart of town. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Apartment is warm and nicely outfitted with everything you need. The host is very responsive. My only critique is that the bathroom has no counter space at all and is quite tight but still functional enough. Would recommend!

At first, I booked with Alvin because there weren't hotels available. I'm so glad there wasn't hotel space as Alvin's place was so much better than a hotel! It was so convenient to have a kitchen and access to laundry. The location was very convenient. Alvin was so helpful, especially when my delayed luggage arrived while I was out - he took care of ensuring it was safely brought inside and waiting for me. Occasionally, I could hear a small dog barking upstairs, but never at times when it disturbed me. I slept easily and well. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and I would gladly stay here again.

A very excellent suite with the host doing everything they could do to make our stay enjoyable. First rate communication. A lot of work has been done to ensure it is modern and ample room for everyone who wants to stay there. Very accommodating. A side entrance allowed us to go to and from without disturbing the owners. Thank you. Only enhancement that I suggested was to fix the windows so that they could be opened and have screens in them. This would allow air to flow through the suite when it is warm. The windows were old and no screens so we could not open them during a hot weather timeline. The kitchen was set up for us to use immediately and they had laundry for us to use right outside of the suite. Great job - thank you again.

We went to see the Aurora. Was getting home at 3am. Thought we could sleep in but it was very noisy above. I recommend people wear mocassins or quiet slippers and avoid heavy activity in the bedroom area. Dog barking didn’t help either. I recommend to put a curtain on the kitchen window, the sun is right in ur eyes.Everything was great other than we were not getting good sleep.

There are cellular blinds on the kitchen windows that can be use to reduce the brightness in the room. Also we tried to minimize the noise as much as we can but it did not work out for you. Was a very noisy upstairs as you can hear every step they took and they where up around 6am so not a good sleep and the dog also was a bit load barking. When we first moved in it was very cold and took about a day to warm up. Then on our third day we wanted to do our laundry and clean our soiled towels but was a bit issue to get any detergent and ended up no clean towels and laundry not what was advertised and again very noisy at times when you wanted to sleep in and last rant is the smell from upstairs all in our basement suite

The location was excellent, with a supermarket just a seven-minute walk away. The barking of the owner's dog wasn't bothersome at all. The owner even drove us to the airport.

The owner was extremely helpful when we needed help and made changes to a service to accommodate our request. Exceptional service. This location is close to both Downtown and Oldtown, making it walking distance from so many sites and restaurants. The fully equipped apartment was comfortable and perfect for our 4 night stay.
