Yn Y Bae is Welsh for “in the bay”, a name that reflects the family’s heritage and the home’s connection to its coastal setting. Nestled quaintly in the heart of Callala Bay, this idyllic holiday home places you within easy walking distance of Wowly Creek and Jervis Bay.

Yn Y Bae accommodates up to seven guests in total. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms comfortably host seven (the music room offering a flexible sleeping option for the seventh guest). The master suite is a serene escape, complete with generous storage and its own private en-suite.

Throughout the home, you’ll find cosy nooks to curl up with a book, stretch out for a peaceful nap, or simply sit and enjoy the gentle natural light filtering through the up/down blinds, which offer privacy while still welcoming the sunshine.

With air conditioning in the main living spaces and in one of the bedrooms, plus ceiling fans in the other rooms, the home stays cool and inviting no matter the weather. Entertainment is easy with a smart TV, books, board games, and a portable Bluetooth speaker that sets the tone for anything from slow breakfasts to relaxed evening drinks.

Families are warmly welcomed, with the home offering a high chair, children's books and toys, and a fully fenced backyard. The saucer swing in the garden has become a favourite with younger guests, and every child who has visited seems to agree.

At the heart of the home is the kitchen, designed for both functionality and connection, it features an oversized island bench that naturally becomes the gathering point while meals are prepared. A built-in wine fridge keeps refreshments close at hand, and a cleverly positioned coffee and tea station stays tucked out of the way of the cooking zone. The outdoor areas offer choices for every mood. The front deck is perfect for soaking up the morning sun and watching the world drift by, while the back deck or the verandah comes into its own in the late afternoon, creating a wonderful setting for cocktails, BBQ dinners, and relaxed evenings.

As such we limit our communications to a few important emails, but otherwise we will leave you alone! If you are looking for a host that provides welcome platters on arrival, champagne in the fridge and who will contact you throughout your stay, we may not be the right host for you.
What you will get from us are well equipped, fairly priced, pet and family friendly holiday homes that are loved by their owners.
We work in a people business and very infrequently things go wrong - if this happens we will do our best to rectify the situation immediately. In busy periods it may take us a few hours to get to messages so picking up the phone is the fastest and best way for us to provide you with the support you need in an urgent situation.
As we are a licensed real estate agent you can be assured that all properties are fully insured, meet fire safety standards and are registered with NSW planning.

Enjoy calm swimming beaches and a relaxed coastal culture in this scenic town. Tucked into the northern pocket of Jervis Bay on the NSW South Coast, Callala Bay has a boat ramp and jetty, providing easy access to the clear aqua waters for sailing, fishing and snorkelling. Make sure you keep an eye out for dolphins.

You can learn to sail with Jervis Bay Sailing Club, or go bushwalking and fishing in nearby Jervis Bay National Park. The park is a natural sanctuary of sand forests, eucalypt woodlands and beaches with powder-white sand. It’s also home to abundant wildlife and important Aboriginal cultural conservation sites.

Just south of Callala Bay is gorgeous Callala Beach, which is backed by a reserve with BBQs and picnic tables. At Club Callala enjoy a bite to eat, lawn bowls and a round of golf on the 18-hole course where kangaroos roam. A courtesy bus operates around the local area seven days a week.

Nearby is the village of Myola, located on the banks of Currambene Creek, a popular fishing spot. You can rent a boat from Husky Hire-A-Boat at Woollamia Boat Ramp and explore the pretty waterway. Take the Husky Ferry from Myola to Huskisson, where dolphin and whale-watching cruises depart.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Yn Y Bae is our family's beach house it's where we come to relax unwind and breath. The house has a relaxed feel and guests who have stayed comment that it is more than a house its a home. There a plenty of spots to sit and read or nap.
The kitchen is an amazing space to cook in with an oversized island bench that guests sit around while meals are prepared and it has a wine fridge built into it.
The kitchen is designed for functionality with a coffee/tea station tucked out of the way of meal preparation. It is my favourite part of the house.
The blinds are up/down to allow privacy while still letting light in.
Front deck for catching the morning sun and watching the world go by.
Back deck for afternoon cocktails
The saucer swing in the back garden has been a big hit with our granddaughter and other children who have stayed recently
