Welcome to Stonewood Haus, Warrnambool’s first Certified Passive House. A holiday home designed with sustainability, durability, and efficiency in mind. Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, the house features a spacious open-plan indoor-outdoor area, 2.5 bathrooms, two living areas and a study. Designed for comfort in every season - warm in winter and cool in summer - it’s the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories with family and friends.
Stonewood Haus is a spacious holiday home located just 2.5 kms from Warrnambool’s town centre and 2.5 kms from the main beach. Perfect for families, groups, and workers, it comfortably sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms.
Engineered to Passive House standards, Stonewood Haus stays naturally warm in winter and cool in summer, typically requiring up to 90% less heating and cooling energy than standard homes. Triple-glazed windows, airtight construction, and balanced mechanical ventilation provide quiet, comfortable living all year round.
Natural timber finishes throughout the home and stone flooring underfoot create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area flows seamlessly to a large outdoor deck bathed in northern sun — perfect for entertaining, relaxing, or enjoying a meal together.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, an induction cooktop, and a walk-in pantry that also functions as a laundry with a washer and dryer.
Downstairs you’ll also find two bedrooms: a king bedroom with an ensuite and a bedroom with two single beds. There is an additional toilet and a practical mud area, making mornings easy and organised.
Upstairs are two queen bedrooms, along with the main bathroom, a study nook, and a second lounge, creating an ideal retreat for kids or quiet time.
All bedrooms offer ample storage with built-in cupboards. Please note updated photos of the bedrooms will be coming soon. The written description is the current bed set up.
Both lounge areas feature smart TVs, and free Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected. A split-system air conditioner upstairs provides additional comfort during warmer months.
Baby gates for the stairs and a port-a-cot is available on request.
The property is fully secure, with a fenced yard and off-street parking behind the fence, keeping vehicles safely away from the street.
At the rear of the home, enjoy a peaceful rural outlook that adds space, privacy, and a sense of calm while remaining close to everything Warrnambool has to offer.

Guests have access to the whole house
Stonewood Haus is located close to the beach and many of Warrnambool`s local attractions. Many visitors come to the region to experience the geothermal pools at Deep Blue Hot Springs. Sessions are available throughout the day and evening with other wellness and spa treatments available.
The house is 300metres from the Warrnambool to Port Fairy rail trail along the Merri River and under 1km to the Warrnambool Golf Course.
The Foreshore Promenade is a 2.5km walk. This links up Warrnambool`s beaches from Lady Bay to Hopkin`s River.
The following attractions are located within 2.5kms of the house, which is an easy walk or a quick car trip.
