I'm an Aussie who met a Kiwi in Tokyo, lived in Ireland, got engaged in South Africa and then married in beautiful Akaroa many moons later! After all the travel, I have loved putting down roots in Christchurch where we have been now for over 16 years.
We have two teenage kids who keep us very busy!
I love getting over to Akaroa and Cardrona - they are both places where I literally exhale as I drive down the valley on their approach.
I hope you'll enjoy your stay as much as we do!

If you haven't been to Cardona yet, it won't be long before you start to feel its magic. It is stunningly beautiful in any season, and I love that it perfectly positioned toxplore and enjoy the region so easily.

What makes this property unique

Whenever we travel, we have often been dismayed by the lack of features which would have made our stay more enjoyable. As a result, with our own places we have tried to think of everything that would help our guests really enjoy their stay, from boardgames to gin goblets, smoothie and toastie makers to snoozeshades for the portocot to help baby sleep deeply. If there is anything else we haven't thought of, we'd love the feedback to make sure it is added in!
