Scandi style beach house, dual sun decks, walking distance to beaches, wood fire

Relax in this contemporary, open plan, airy, two storey beach house in Anglesea (Great Ocean Road area). Large front and back decks provide plenty of sun and space, and a wood fire in the loungeroom helps keep things cosy. Tastefully decorated and well equipped. The master bedroom is on the ground /entrance level along with the family bathroom, open kitchen/dining and both the exterior decks, with three more bedrooms and additional bathroom facilities located downstairs. Set on a quiet road, it's a 10-15 minute walk to the Anglesea main beach, golf club and shops/cafes. Substantial native gardens surround the property, with lots of birds to see and hear. The house accommodates 8 people total, including children. Previous guests tell us: We have stayed in Anglesea a lot over the years, but this is by far our favourite place (2026). Another said: Absolutely stunning home, fantastic kitchen with everything you could ever need (2026). A few things to note: the property is unfenced and the front door is accessed via a path of rough stone steps from the front driveway (see photo). Dogs not permitted without prior approval.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Check all electric wall heaters are turned off at the wall, and that the overhead aircon is turned off (via the remote). Ensure the woodburning stove and fire pit are both entirely extinguished.
Close all blinds
Bring in the orange outdoor chairs and put into their original storage location.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
