We are located in the exclusive Colonel's Chair subdivision on Hunter Mountain. Hunter Resort entry and lifts are 0.5 mile from our home and provides access to world class skiing/snowboarding, tubing,riding, zip-line, and 4 seasons of fun and activities.

• We offer your very own lake that you can swim, fish, & boat in. We supply 3 kayaks from May through October.
• Beach area with plenty of water toys & lounge chairs provided.
• Big driveway & ample parking space for 10-12 vehicles
• Short driving, 2-10 min, distance to the Hunter & Tannersville centers, shops, restaurants, cinema, churches and synagogues.
• Hunter Resort/Mountain is 0.5 mile away.
• Windham Mountain is 15 min drive.

Summer Check in time 5 PMM and Check out time 11AM
Early check in/out fee: $60 per hour (available if the night before is not booked and with a host approval).
For your safety, we instaled the front ring doorbell and 5 cameras to oversee the parking lot, front sides of the house, fire pit, lake and hot tub areas. No cameras inside in the house.
SKI SEASON
When you book our home for ski season make sure to book your pass, tickets and days on the mountain to avoid disappointment. Please understand that we are not responsible for any weather change or weather condition.

This is a true luxury vacation home with everything you need to be comfortable, have fun in and create a lifetime of memories!!!

This place was perfect for our large group! It was so so close to the ski resort, grocery store, and had all of the kitchen supplies we needed including plenty of plates and cups. First time staying at this house since 2013 and it still is the perfect place. Location is key since you can walk to restaurants, etc. There have also been updates completed since 2013 but not so much that the character has changed. Valentyna (our host) was helpful throughout the booking process and answering any questions during our stay. We'll be back!

Great mountain retreat

We had a great stay at the Bobcat Lodge. The house was very clean, had plenty of space, and great communal spaces where we could all hang out and enjoy each other's company. The game room and hot tub came in handy during the trip as well. The location was great with access to hiking m, downtown Hunter and Tannersville. Valentyna was also a very attentive hostess with great attention to detail that we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely look to stay again.

We had a great time staying at the lodge with a family of 13. Everything was clean and the host was very responsive. One thing to be aware of is that water access for small children is a little difficult, but the water was clean and the kayaks were great fun!

Sisters Reunion

Bobcat Lodge had everything we needed and more. The number of beds is excellent for a group of adults. The kitchen space is a little tight, so we suggest sharing food duties and everyone take a meal so there aren't too many people in the kitchen at one time. And ask the host how to work the stove top at the start of your weekend. Then, enjoy the house. It was warm and welcoming!

What we love most about being a top-rated host is sharing our comfy & cozy home with people from all over the world or locals looking to get away from the city. We listed our home because we want to connect with people from across America, allow our guest to experience the wonderful Hunter Mountain views with your own private lake, winter sports at the slope and get a chance to relax at our lodge home.

Our friends brought us camping to Hunter Mountain region and we fell in love with breathtaking mountain and lake views . While the town of Hunter, NY’s Main Street has everything you need for you cozy small town life; there’s a movie theater, pharmacy, post office, library, coffee shop, cafes and even an art gallery, that’s not why most people come here.

You don’t rent Hunter property because you want a lifestyle of convenience and continuity. You come to Hunter because you want ADVENTURE or RELAXATION.

You want New York City’s version of "big light up sky”, but with stars clear as day during the night. You want to barrel down the slopes at warp speed during your winter stays, you want to climb rocks and jump into waterfalls during the spring seasons, you want to leave it all on the tennis courts and then drink a gin and tonic or glass of Merlot while starring out at your mind blowing view of Hunter Mountain. You can be a rugged individualist or lazy weekender runner looking to getaway for a bit! Come to Hunter where you can find some more rugged individualists to keep you company. Hunter Mountain, Wyndham, Colgate Lake, Kaaterskill Falls, and more hiking trails than even you can get through in the next few years are waiting for you here at the Bobcat Lodge.
