LUXURY REDEFINED lux•u•ry (noun) 1: a condition of abundance or great ease and comfort: a sumptuous environment 2: the state of great comfort and extravagant living For twelve years, Villa Mille Fleurs in St. Martin has embodied the very definition of luxury-- elegant, comfortable, sumptuous and extravagant. In September 2017, Hurricane Irma came along, devastating the island of St. Martin and severely damaging Mille Fleurs. For the next two years, we took the opportunity to consider how we wanted to rebuild and re-imagine Mille Fleurs in a way that our returning as well as our new guests would find completely updated, yet every bit as comfortable, elegant and yes, luxurious as before. All the while preserving the timeless architectural style of this Grand Dame of the Caribbean-- and, of course, the comfortable indoor/outdoor lifestyle that is so much a part of Mille Fleurs. The new Mille Fleurs has been furnished in a lighter, more transitional style-- an elegant and timeless design that combines new and old—in a fresh way. Comfortable furnishings, but without the fuss of traditional styling.
