Family Vacation

The cabin was perfect in every way for us. The owner checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything and to give us some helpful suggestions. The cabin is located perfectly, only 5 minutes from Dollywood and less than an hour to nearby walking trails and waterfalls. It was perfect!

Awesome view!

This property combines great views, close location to strip with nice cabin set up. Bedroom and bath on each floor for privacy, with decks, games and community indoor pool. Very nice at competitive price.

We loved our time here! The cabin was perfect. Beautiful sights, plenty of space, perfect location. We had some minor plumbing issues-the owner responded immediately to our texts and had the situation resolved promptly.

Long awaited reunion

The cabin was perfect for our reunion with some lifelong friends. There was plenty of room, it was comfortable and quiet. The game room was great and had plenty to do. We really enjoyed just spending time together and catching up! The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly when I sent a message. I would highly recommend this cabin if you want a pleasant stay. Additionally, the location is great!

Fun for entire family

The cabin was great!!! It had amazing views on all three levels. There was fun for the entire family with the pool table, game system and hot tub. The park was better than some of the other cabins. Tom was great to work with and answered all of our questions in timely manner. Thanks for a great week of fun with the family!!!

July Vacation

The cabin was perfect for our stay. Very close to Dollywood and the Pigeon Forge strip which made going back and forth very convenient. Also the added bonus of being able to see the Dollywood fireworks every evening was fantastic.

Did not meet expectations

The location was nice, however the pictures do not accurately reflect the condition of the home. The pool table is not usable due to several broken side bumpers, the air hockey handles are broken, several lamps are unusable due to broken switches, the dishwasher is rusted inside and has broken off pegs. The property maintenance is lacking.

We had a great time!

This cabin was perfect for my family and I. There was plenty of things in the cabin for my kids and I to do together. We made some wonderful memories during our stay. The area is also quiet so we got to hear the wildlife around us too. Amazing views as well!

Great location but needs updating and cleaning

Property is in a great location and property manager/owner is responsive. However, we arrived to a house that had used dirty towels folded up and presented as if they were clean. We had to wash all towels (kitchen and bath) upon arrival. I notified the owner and he said he’d speak with cleaning service. Also there were dead ladybugs and flies under curtains /windows. Not a huge deal with bugs… but I’d at least expect clean towels upon arrival for the money we spent to stay at this place…. Could use a huge deep clean.

Very overpriced . A little cute cabin with zero privacy and very dirty

We have been to this area many times and stayed in many cabins. This one is a cute little cabin with zero privacy, very little space to park, if you have a good size SUV it will be challenging. The kitchen was well equipped but microwave did not work. Furniture in bad condition, sofa in basement was so dirty that we had to put towels and sheets to sit on it, very disgusting. Basement smelled like dog urine. Bed spreads and sheets were dirty, we had to clean whole house and wash everything. Towels really old and just a few. Balcony has a nice view of the mountains. Small and old TVs no Netflix, no Blue ray Player. My husband and kids loved the retro arcade games. Owners need to invest in better sofas, TVs, sheets, bed spreads and towels. Get rid of the nasty and very dirty pillows and cushions. What really made us really upset is that the cleaning lady had the nerve to leave an envelope for tips in the kitchen, when we had to clean the whole first day.ñ and do all the work that they did not do. We will not be coming back to this cabin and hope the owners understand that you have to invest to renew furniture, towels sheets and Tvs.

Great location. Beautiful sunsets. And enjoy Dollywood fireworks. Bring your own towels as others said. Furniture has seen better days. Could use some up keep. Some stains on ceiling. Allows smoking on the porch. So bucket full of cigarette butts on porch. If you are allergic to smoke do not rent. Smell in the rain/ humidity As smell carries into home. Owner was defensive that I should have asked if allowed smoking outside. So I guess next Vrbo that is listed as nonsmoking I will ask for clarification which I didn’t realize I needed to do.

Why they chose this property

This beatiful cabin is located in Beautiful Hidden Springs Resort and is only 1 mile from Dollywood/Splash Country...and 2-3 mile from the parkway in Pigeon Forge Tn..I never ever wonted to go on vacation and drive 5 mile or more to see & do everything in the area..this was the #1 reason for purchasing Bears Den BUT also fell in Love with the cabin it truly HAS IT ALL !!!...

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with Bears Den the very first time i entered the cabin....the full wall of glass with the awesome views !!!..the location to Dollywood/Splash Country was a big plus..also have family kids & grandkids and Bears Den was large enough to have my family all stay together at Chistmas & Thanksgiving and not spend all our time driving to where we all wonted to go..We LOVE having our family all together .... I truly fell in love with BEARS DEN !!!...
