Dancing Horse Farm - Ski Lodge and Horse Farm 3 Miles från Windham Mountain

Denna lyxiga skidstuga ligger på en fungerande hästgård med 360 graders utsikt över bergen och ligger bara några minuter från Windham Mountain Ski Resort. Dancing Horse Farm är det perfekta stället att samla stora familjer till semestern eller för att sammanföra stora grupper av vänner för de lokala Catskill-festivalerna.

Stugan ligger i slutet av en lång, hemlockfodrad, privat uppfart. På bottenvåningen finns ett stort kök, matsal och stort rum som är perfekt för att underhålla stora grupper. Den första våningen har ett stort gemensamt område med TV, ett biljardbord och en darttavla. Det finns en stor uteplats i sten och ett trädäck med sittplatser och en gasgrill för att rymma stora utomhusfester. Det finns också en eldstad med bekväma stolar för att värma upp på en sval natt.

Strax bortom lodgen kan du gå ner till våra lador och träffa hästar som bor här på Dancing Horse Farm. Privat hästvård och instruktioner för ridning är ett bra alternativ till att komma ut på sluttningarna.

Oavsett om du är här för att åka skidor, snowboard eller vill lära dig att rida på häst, är Lodge at Dancing Horse Farm platsen där du kommer att skapa minnen som håller livet ut. Välkommen hem.

Dancing Horse Farm... Simply the Best

From first contact to check out, Greg was an outstanding host and Dancing Horse Farm was the best space and property for our team retreat. Easily slept our 22 person group with space to spare. Having done these trips in the past, I can say that Greg's property is better equipped for cooking for a large group than any other property we have stayed at. The Blackstone grill was ideal for taco night and pancake breakfasts. The bonfire, the great family room and ample seating made perfect venues for bonding, meals and our annual trivia night. Thank you Greg!

Excellent Getaway location for a crowd

The property was clean, well organized, and equipped with everything to accommodate staying of a crowd. The property was beautiful, amenities were plentiful, and host was very easy to reach via message. Kitchen appliances, sound system, bed, shower room, and living room, everything was pleasant.

Spectacular experience, will be returning!

My job had a wellness retreat (30 people) and it was the perfect location for it. Everyone fit very comfortably in the house, and it was so clean and comfortable and well stocked with towels and all other items. Greg was very responsive and pleasant to work with as well. Very peaceful location, and we will likely return next for next years retreat!

Had 25 Allen here for a bachelor party and never felt cramped. Property is beautiful, well maintained, and tons of amenities. Greg the host was very responsive and hospitable. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a large group

My group was blown away by this home! The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, cookware, and servingware, and there were easily enough beds and space for our group of 17. The property is sprawling and beautiful, just as pictured or better. Communication with the host was the best I've ever experienced - he was so accommodating, helpful, and proactive (we never met in person). Hope to return someday!

Nice Property/Well Appointed

Large home with everything you’ll need. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, fridge space for a large party. Bedding was nice, with plenty of extra blankets. Greg was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly. We would definitely book this property again.

Great long weekend

We had 4 families stay here over Presidents Day weekend. The house was great. The living area on the main floor is big and flows into a large kitchen - the kids took over the game room downstairs and stayed in the bunk rooms.It is a short ride to Windham Mountain and easy to drop off/pick up people at the mountain. There was plenty of firewood and the house had pretty much everything you need. Would recommend to any large group - and hope to be back next year to do it again.

An Amazing Weekend Getaway!

Our group of nearly 25 adults and children had a fantastic time! There was plenty of space for our entire group. We especially loved the large gathering areas both upstairs and downstairs. The bunk rooms were perfect for our kids to sleep! The home had wonderful little touches that you don’t always see in a rental - custom Beekman bath products and signature mugs and wine glasses with the dancing horse logo! We will absolutely be returning to this gem! Communication with Greg was also wonderful! A quick ride to Windham and Hunter make this a dream for a family friendly ski vacation.

Best Cabin Trip Thus Far!

We had an amazing stay - and Greg was absolutely phenomenal with communication - especially with providing information on plowing during a snow storm while we were there. The property was gorgeous and just a few minutes away from Wyndham Mountain. The property was very clean and huge for the great price. We were able to have a wellness retreat and the amenities were great!

Huge house close to Windham mountain.

This is a wonderful property for a multi family get away. There are a ton of bedrooms and the house is well stocked with needed amenities.Greg was great to deal with. He was very communicative with instructions for the house. We definitely would like to book this property again.

Great house !!

We went with 3 families (kids 4-14) and had the best time !! Great house for a group. We were 18 total. Awesome location. The kids loved playing in the snow and visiting with the cows! The grounds were really beautiful. The house had plenty of room. The bunk rooms were awesome for kids. Upstairs master has a tiny room a one single bed off of it, perfect for a toddler or baby. Two living rooms for multiple sports game watching. Short drive to the mountain and restaurants. We even brought food fromHome and grilled steaks one night. We had an awesome time !!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had another fun stay at the Dancing Horse Farm! The house has been upgraded with a new stove and other amenities. Huge home, to house several large families. Very well maintained and clean. We also visited the near by town for coffee and a nice brisk walk. Overall great time and look forward to coming again!

Fall Getaway

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and its owner, Greg. Communication from start to finish was seamless. We were a family of 14 adults and four children (6, 2, and 2 infants). The location is private, and the backdrop is nature at its finest. The stables were a big hit with the children, who would venture there several times each day to check on the horses and cows. The home layout is perfect for large groups as everyone has their own space without rooms being above anyone. We especially enjoyed the first floor with the pool table and other living room with a TV and a door to ensure the excitement of the sports from the guys did not disturb any sleeping babies upstairs. The decks are great for enjoying time outside for a bite or a cup of something to drink. There are numerous firepits on the property as well, which we made sure to enjoy. I would highly recommend visiting here if you are lucky enough.

My family has always had a love for the mountains and horses. My parents first built the lodge in 1988 to come out to the country and experience the beautiful hiking throughout the catskill mountains in the summer and in the winter enjoy the world class skiing and snowboarding at Windham Mountain and Hunter Mountain. Our property was historically a dairy farm and later pheasant hunting grounds. After we built our home here in 1988 we renovated the historic barn on the property and created a first-rate private equestrian facility. Now open for all to experience, Dancing Horse Farm is a place for all people to enjoy what our family enjoyed for so many years; a beautiful ski lodge near Windham Mountain and a private horse farm.
