Lovely little gîte in lovely quiet spot

Lovely gîte which has been lovingly restored by David and Daphne. Perfect for a couple. Lovely view across fields with wildlife all around. Lots of shade from trees, but if you love the sun be prepared to chase it around the garden! There's a house behind but other than the owner driving in and out there is no impact on privacy. Great base for exploring the area and the beautiful hilltop villages nearby. The PR15 walk goes right passed the drive and is an easy walk to the village of Feneyrols and back to Saint Antonin. A lot of it is on the road but they are so quiet it's not an issue. You can also walk to Saint Antonin, if you are reasonably fit as bit of a hill into the village, and to the gîte on the way back. Takes about 30 minutes each way. Great little place.

Déconnexion au vert garantie :)

Nous avons passé une semaine du 13 au 20 aout 2022 en amoureux dans ce gîte, et nous avons été ravis malgré quelques désagréments à mentionner. Les plus de ce logement: localisation top: tout proche de la ville de St Antonin Noble Val (7' en voiture) qui est vivante et dynamique, au milieu de la nature avec une vue ouverte de nature, et même des faons qui sortent tous les soirs vers 20h00 :) Il y a une maison juste derrière le gîte mais nous n'avons que rarement vu ou entendu les propriétaires. Des vélos dont un électrique sont mis à dispo. En arrivant, il y a de quoi s'installer restaurer se doucher car il est demandé de laisser le minimum pour les locataires suivants Le gîte est beau et bien aménagé Il y a pleins d'activités tout près: rivière, canoë, escalades (bcp de falaises top), resto, marchés, etc Les bémols: Les fourmis dans le salon Le Frigo dont la lumière clignote Le Rideau électrique de la cuisine qui pas refermable en entier La Cuvette des wc mal accrochée Internet peu stable (mais la 4G passe très bien) La machine a laver le linge très bruyante avec une demande du proprio de laisser le tuyau d'évacuation d'eau dans l'évier La chaleur dans les chambres de l'étage et surtout les moustiques la nuit: il y a des moustiquaires sur les lits mais cela reste compliqué de ne pas être piqué le soir les relents de fosse sceptique qui émanent devant la terrasse par légers moments le soir pendant le dîner (les cuvettes auraient du être installées sur le côté) Il manque un îlot de hauteur normale dans la cuisine pour cuisiner agréablement Bref des bémols et quelques inconforts, mais au final une semaine très déconnectantes au milieu de la nature, avec un ciel étoilé sublime dans un environnement de rêve :) Si le proprio "règle" ces bémols, c'est vraiment un gîte

Unspoilt, countryside views. Full of character property. Helpful and attentive hosts. Quiet and rural. Anyone wanting a tranquil, relaxing place, this is it.
