Puerto Aventuras is a quiet and relaxing town perfect for families, couples or singles alike. Situated on Fatima Bay on the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Everything you could possibly need is located within our gates or just a short drive away. This is not
a location full of spring breakers, this a place to come and get away from it all. Relax on our private beach or next to the magnificent free form pool. Spend your evening open-air dining and taking in the sights of our lovely little resort town and then a leisurely latenight stroll along the moonlit sugar sand beach. If preparing your own meals is more of what you had in mind, our kitchen if fully equipped and a leisurly meal on the lanai with a breathtaking view of the caribean as the backdrop.
Puerto Aventuras is a private gated 24/7 guarded resort community with many fantastic restaurants and shops. Featuring the only marina south of Cancun on the Mayan Riviera this enables you to enjoy deep sea charter fishing, catamaran sail trips or para-sailing. In the center of town you will find dolphins, manatees and sea lions. These beautiful and graceful animals are available to get acquainted with through the swim with dolphin program.
You will not be disappointed with your stay in our condo. Quinta del Sol is one of the finest developments in Puerto Aventuras. From the moment you arrive you will be transformed by the grace and beauty of its Caribbean location. You will want to return again and again. We promise.
On our 20th wedding anniversary we made the trip back to Puerto Aventuras to check the construction of our new condo. Our trip reaffirmed, that we had made the right choice in choosing Puerto Aventuras and Quinta del Sol. We love it here!
Perri purchased this condo in 2006
We chose Puerto Aventuras because it was VERY low key, a great place to get away from the daily stresses of life and business. We felt it was a very safe community and we'd be comfortable giving our teenagers some freedoms that we would have never considered in other locations. The view was amazing, the beach was amazing. All in all it just felt right. We purchased pre-construction, so we were able to make our condo really our own, which was a wonderful option. I'm sure you will enjoy Puerto Aventuras and our condo as much as we do!
My family and I stayed at this condo last month and had a great time. The facility was very clean and accessible. The location is quiet and folks in the complex were very friendly. The Puerto Aventuras has a very safe feel to it and you can access the shops and restaurants either by the beach or roads (about a 10 minute leisurely walk). You are steps form the pool and beach. Snorkeling or fly fishing off the beach was pretty good. There is a grocery store about a 5 minute drive away and this area is quite central to a lot of activities in the Quintana Roo area (20 minutes to Playa Del Carmen and 30 minutes to Tulum. The condo itself was very comfortable and plenty of room for 8 people. There is a large balcony that overlooks the pool and you can see the beach. We had a breakdown in the AC and it was fixed the same day, great service by the condo management.
Our family of 5 just returned from a wonderful stay in this very comfortable, spacious, and lovely condo. It was even larger than the pictures show! We like to get up and go, and that's why we chose Puerto Aventuras. It's such an easy trip to Akumal (where you can swim with turtles at the public beach, snorkel at Yal Ku lagoon, and eat a delicious and reasonably priced meal at La Buena Vida Restaurant), Tulum (more great beaches and Zamas restaurant), Playa del Carmen (for shopping and nightlife), and all the eco parks (Xel Ha is good for activities and Xcaret good for butterfly exhibit and the evening show). But even if you just want to hang out and have a truly relaxing vacation, you can't go wrong with this condo. Sitting on the large balcony, sipping mojitos, and looking at the ocean and pool was great. My kids (9-year-old twin boys and an 11-year-old daughter) loved kayaking, playing at the pool and ocean, and even just hanging out in the condo in the evenings, watching movies together.
The owner was very helpful with great directions (we got a rental car) and useful recommendations. So was Oscar, the building manager. The AC wasn't working well in one of the rooms, and the problem was fixed right away. We liked the security of being in a gated community and of being one floor up from ground level.
We got our groceries across the street at the Chedaui, but I must say, it was tough to stay hungry and select food in there with the strong fishy odor. The Mega or WalMart in Playa are easier on us spoiled Americans. We took the advice of other reviewers and ate breakfast at the Omni -- good food. We also ate at Café Ole (I think that was the name). This wasn't our favorite meal -- and they gave a bad exchange rate. It is a good idea to have your own calculator, because if you ask what something costs in dollars, many waiters, gas station attendants, and shop keepers will do the math on a calculator and then tell you a few dollars above that number. Do your own math and hand them the right amount if you don't use pesos.
We would certainly recommend this condo to anyone we know!
What a beautiful home! First class accommodations. Every morning was spent on the patio drinking coffee and watching the waves. Every evening spent walking through the Village and dining in a different café. The beach is beautiful and the water is incredible. most relaxing vacation we can remember.
Beautiful Condo!! We really enjoyed our stay and LOVE Puerto Aventuras!!! Best beaches in the Riviera Maya!!!. Great restaurants, snorkeling, and swimming with the dolphins. Close to Playa Del Carmen (La Parilla Mexican Restaurant), Tulum (Mayan Ruins and Paradise Beach), and Akumal (La Buena Vida Restaurant). Must visit the Garden of Eden Cenote just outside Puerto Aventuras.
We stayed here with 3 couples in February 2011. Great place, great location on beach. Very spacious with nice amenities. I would recommend it to anyone. The owners were accommodating and helpful.
The beach is only a few steps away and it's a five minute walk to several nice bars and restaurants. You can grab a cab or van from the airport and get by the entire week without any transportation. PA is a great place to visit.
We stayed in this unit in April 2010 and really enjoyed it. The condo itself is very nice and well equiped. Very relaxing area. No Spring Breakers in sight. The restaurants were good. Our kids loved the pools and the beach. The dolphins and sea lions were an added attraction. We'll be back.
Snorkel the coral reef just 100 yards off shore, swim with dolphins, explore Mayan ruins at Tulum, Coba, or Chichen Itza. Enjoy the day at XCaret, Xel Ha or Xplor. Treat family to horseback riding, Zipline and ATV tours in jungle setting. Golf pro-shop and tennis courts located in center of town, very easy access. Explore the marina where you can arrange a catamaran excursion or charter a deep sea fishing trip. If fishing isn't your thing, Para-sailing is also available near the marina. Be sure to shop La Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue) for Mexican souvenirs and great open-air dining in Playa del Carmen. Enjoy the strolling Mariachis and street performers while having a cold beverage. A very enjoyable way to spend at least one evening during your visit. Margaritas anyone!
