Cozy North Seattle 1-Bedroom with Private Patio Near Park Hiking Trails
Charming, cozy 1-bedroom hideaway in the NW Seattle neighborhood of Crown Hill, with easy access to all the best Seattle has to offer. Includes private outdoor patio, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining seats at kitchen bar, and bathroom.
We have all the amenities needed to make you feel right at home: full kitchen, 3/4 bath, Cal King bed with Purple pressure-relieving mattress, small private patio, natural stone countertops, 2 large screen HD TVs (one in bedroom and one living room, each wired to the internet and local channels, plus all-new appliances (including washer and dryer) await. Trailhead to Carkeek Park and beach, busline, and grocery store within walking distance. Free off-street parking included (for one vehicle) on the paved driveway just adjacent to the entrance to the apartment. Please note: The gravel area to the right of the driveway is parking for the other (upper floor) unit on the same property, not this unit.
This 1-bedroom space is on the ground floor and can sleep up to 4 people. The living room sofa folds out into a full-size sleeper so the home can accommodate up to 4 people. High speed WiFi internet and all utilities provided.
All-new patio at entrance has awning above and there is a privacy wall so area is not visible from the street. Outdoor table, chairs and a gas grill provided. Glass doors allow a lot of extra daylight in, with shades for nighttime privacy. Full kitchen has all your essentials like cookware, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and utensils. There is a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, plus counter space. There are stools at the breakfast bar as a dining area. All cabinets and marble countertops are brand new.
Located just 10 minutes from the lively Ballard, Greenwood & Phinney neighborhoods, 15 minutes from Northgate, and just 20 minutes from Downtown Seattle. Location is only 3 blocks from a major shopping center with a QFC supermarket. Additional nearby grocery stores include Metropolitan Market and Grocery Outlet. Close to Woodland Park Zoo, Golden Gardens Park, Shilshole Bay, Ballard Locks, and much more. Nearby restaurants listed below. BEAUTIFUL CARKEEK PARK BEACH, WETLANDS & TRAILS For those who want to explore the woods or beach, our cottage is just a half-mile walk to the Piper's Creek Trailhead South McAbee Entrance, part of the large, forested Carkeek Park and Piper's Creek watershed. The trail provides access to the entire park, which has a 3.2 mile loop trail through forest, wetland & apple orchard, with views and landscapes that change, culminating is access to Carkeek's expansive Puget Sound beach with views of the Olympic mountains and Bainbridge Island. Beautiful views can also be found at Golden Gardens Park near Shilshole Bay, which offers walking trails and picnic areas.

Quiet location, easy parking in driveway. Very well stocked kitchen, although we had no need to cooking on this particular trip. Bedroom a bit cramped with the comfy king bed, but the size of bed was more important for us than being able to move around a lot. Bathroom roomy, nice to have washer and dryer handy. Contact info for hosts was at hand - they make themselves very available should a need arise. Would definitely stay at this property again.
The location was fantastic, with a clean house and an amazing experience. The place is even better in person. You can use the laundry and kitchen to cook your own meals, making it feel like home. There are many coffee shops nearby, hiking trails, restaurants, and it’s close to Downtown. The neighborhood is quiet. Dennis and Martie were the best hosts we’ve ever had. I’ll give them 5 stars.
It was great, we stayed while my son had major surgery at VM. To come “home” after each day was so peaceful and nice. Close enough but far away from the hectic Seattle city. We loved it!

Great location, clean and cozy
The actual Verbo was wonderful and was in a great location with easy to walk to restaurants and bars. The place was clean and well stocked with supplies for everything you could need. Communication with the property manager was not great and it gave me a lot of anxiety. I had to phone him directly and was yelled at over the phone.

It was an excellent stay at the 1 bedroom in Crown Hill, North Seattle. Everything was exactly, as described. Dennis and Martie were awesome hosts and made sure we had everything we needed for a worry-free stay.The location is superb. It was perfect for our needs. It is located in a very nice, quiet, safe neighborhood, very close to the Sound/coast and a beautiful park. It was great for a nice walk each day. The on-site parking was excellent and allowed us to come and go as we needed and not worry about finding street parking. Also, a very nice, full-scale grocery store is blocks away, well within walking distance.The living space is spacious, adequate for the three of us during our stay. The main bedroom has a comfortable, king-size bed. That was a very positive feature for me. The bedroom is not large, but that was not an issue and well worth it to have the king-size bed. The bathroom is large with plenty of room for more than one person to be getting ready for the day at the same time. It also has very nice laundry machines, full-size washer and dryer.At the risk of not leaving a spot for me in the future, I would definitely stay there again!
A several month stay away from a locked down retirement home was comfortable and so very kindly supported by the hosts. They graciously accommodated our request for some furniture rearrangement to fit specific needs and were so consistent in checking in with us. The unit is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet - and the grocery store is just a few blocks away (a bonus). Highly recommend.
