We really enjoyed our stay at Gite du Grenadiers. Adrien was very welcoming and showed us around the house when we arrived. He also provided recommendations for restaurants (Cafe du Nord) and places to visit (Châteauneuf and Parc d’Auxois), which we did visit and loved.Lots of space in the house and garden for all 6 of us and a dog. Well equipped with toys, games, kitchen utensils and cleaning materials. We spent evenings on the terrace with the BBQ and great views. The swimming pool was perfect when we just wanted to hang out at the house. When we wanted to explore the local region, there were plenty of options (Arnay le Duc - 10 mins drive, Autun - 30 mins drive, Beaune - 40 mins drive. We visited all of these beautiful places as well as Châteauneuf, Sully, Flavigny-sur-Ozerain and Bligny-sur-Ouche. We would definitely return for another stay.

Beautiful home and property in every detail; many extras

We loved our 10-day stay in this home. The whole house is perfectly decorated with a pleasing harmony in every room, both in color and in furnishings, and every bedroom has its own private bath. The house is appointed with all the modern conveniences, plus MANY extras. Perfect for a couple or a whole family. What my husband and I liked best--what we were seeking--was the picture perfect setting, the complete peace and quiet, and the beauty of nature. We truly found that here. The front patio sits in a pretty garden with a 'wishing well.' The back deck has clear windows on the sides so you can gaze at the adjacent orchard while smelling the fragrant lilacs growing in the backyard. The backyard gate opens directly onto three nature walks. You can hear the birds chirping from early morning until after sunset. And there is no light pollution; we saw the Milky Way every night as we were stargazing. Perfection. Our host Adrien was friendly, kind, solicitous, and most helpful. He was there to greet us when we arrived, and showed us how to operate eveythiing. He checked in with us (via text) to make sure that our visit was proceeding along well, that everything was working perfectly in the house, and to offer some suggestions of fun things to do based on our interests. He will take good care of you! My husband and I have stayed at many VBRO properties. Our stay at Adrien's house holds a special place in our hearts. Thank you, Adrein, Malika, and family!

Het contact met de eigenaar verliep heel goed. Snel reactie en netjes te woord gestaan. Communicatie in het Engels ging heel goed. Ontvangst bij het huis verliep netjes en de uitleg was duidelijk. De keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien en er was veel keuken apparatuur aanwezig. Gezellig ingericht huis. Alleen de matrassen waren erg hard (maar dat is misschien wat je gewend bent). De tuin is groot met een fijn terras. De buurt is lekker rustig. En het privé zwembad was echt heel fijn. Overkapt, dus je kan er lekker zwem bij elke type weer. We hebben van onze vakantie genoten en raden dit huis dan ook aan voor een fijn verblijf. Dankjewel Adrien dat wij in jouw huis mochten verblijven.

Bonjour David, en effet il N’y a plus de spa depuis 3 ans, car l’utilisation des locataires nous contraignait à le changer tous les 18 mois… mais il ne me semble pas qu’il y ait de spa en description ni en photo sur l’annonce donc pas vraiment de surprise de ce côté là! Au plaisir

Nous avons passé une super semaine malgré la canicule. La piscine est très agréable et les bois alentours offrent des ballades à proximité. La maison est très bien équipée, le jardin agréable. L'accueil d'Adrien est parfait (merci pour la bouteille !). Point très important : le calme du hameau et de ses alentours. Une adresse à retenir !

We absolutely loved our stay at Adrian's property. My wife and 2 young children stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed our trip.The house itself was really well equipped, with all bedrooms having en suites, as well as a downstairs toilet. The bedrooms had air conditioning which was amazing given the high temperatures when we stayed. The kitchen also had all of the equipment / utensils we could ask for, and everything was provided for the barbecue on the terrace. Our absolute favourite thing was the heated indoor swimming pool, which our kids were obsessed with. Great way to cool down in the heat, but also meant we could have used it even if the weather wasn't great. The location of the house was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful and picturesque. We loved the peace and quiet, and the house and gardens were very private without being overlooked. Everything was also childproof in the garden with secure gates etc, which meant our children could explore freely.Adrien was a great host, very communicative and was there to meet us in person when we arrived to show us around the property. Even when we had some completely unrelated issues with our trip (car breakdown) Adrien was very willing to help us which was really appreciated. If you are looking for a relaxing, rural getaway, I would definitely recommend booking!

Très bon séjour dans cette maison bien agencée avec une piscine, un spa et une salle de jeux. Les promenades sont accessibles à partir du gîte : vous ne rencontrerez que des vaches et des agriculteurs sympas. De beaux châteaux et petites villes à visiter

Séjour pluvieux dans gite agréable

Hélas, le temps fût infect et nous n'avons pas pu profiter du jardin, du jacuzzi et de la piscine. Mais, par contre, le feu ouvert fût des plus agréables et a contribué à notre excellent séjour :-).

Séjour au calme

Séjour Parfait

Réservation de ce gîte pour une deuxième période estivale. Loué auparavant à d'autres propriétaires, dorénavant avec Adrien et sa Femme, le gîte est propre et fonctionnel. Climatisations dans les chambres du haut et une salle de bain dans chacune des trois chambres. Un propriétaire disponible et agréable, je vous recommande de faire un séjour dans le Gîte d'Adrien. Onthaasten in een heerlijke omgeving van alle gemakken voorzien

De eigenaar was ontzettend behulpzaam en doet er alles aan om je verblijf fantastisch te maken. Er is een grote garage waardoor je auto ook bij hoogzomer goed koel blijft. Er is een kinderkamer voor alle leeftijden! Er is een heerlijk overdekt zwembad en een jacuzzi die buiten staat van boven afgeschermd voor de zon. Binnen heeft elke kamer minimaal een douche en toilet! De keuken is zeer volledig uitgerust met allerlei extra apparaten die je mag gebruiken. 2 grote koelkasten en een buiten barbecue en gasfornuis! Een mooie grote parasol maakt het af. Boven zijn de kamers voorzien van airconditioning! Als ik iets van kritiek zou moeten geven dan zijn het de harde bedden (kwestie van smaak) en 1 van de 3 douche kabines is wel heel klein.

Authentisches Landhaus

Wir haben uns in der Gîte du Grenadier sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Besonders im warmen Pool hatten wir viel Spaß. Unser Enkelkind 4 Jahre hat den Spielplatz im Garten geliebt. Die Umgebung ist idyllisch zum Spazieren gehen, allerdings ist man für Einkaufen und Besichtigungen auf das Auto angewiesen.

Séjour très agréable à Vievy

Nous avons passé un excellent séjours chez Adrien qui est disponible et avenant. Les prestations sont nombreuses (piscine, SPA, salle de jeux...) Location isolée au calme parfaite pour y séjourner en famille et pour se reposer. Sandra et David
