New pool renovation. New saltwater filter, no chlorine in the pool—new AC, all bathrooms renovated—almost all tiled! New pictures to follow.
Villa Colleen is only 310 m from a small boat dock, kayak ramp, and bay, located in a quiet residential area in Tropical Shores Vamo, only about 6 miles from the #1 beach in the USA, Siesta Key. The approximately 250 sqm house has 4 (5) bedrooms (3 with king-size beds), 4 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and a comfortable, spacious living and dining area for 8-10 people. The heated pool and large terrace are surrounded by a pool cage. On the first floor, there are 2 more bedrooms with king-size beds – one with its own terrace. The house is equipped with fast wireless internet WiFi 250Mbit/s, a new 65-inch flat-screen TV (with an extended digital TV package of YoutubeTV) in the living area, and a second TV in the master bedroom. The master bedroom downstairs and the two bedrooms upstairs have large king-size beds. The fourth bedroom has two single beds. The fifth bedroom with a queen-size bed is private but can be made available on request. There is a large outdoor grill, a spacious covered terrace, and plenty of sun loungers and chairs.

Villa Colleen is Heaven!

Everything was as described, clean, comfortable, great neighborhood, well stocked. The pool and lanai are heaven! Very responsive hosts! Even nicer than the photos. Had a wonderful stay. Recommend without hesitation!

We stayed the month of February and enjoyed escaping part of a horrible winter. We brought our boat and for convenience kept at Stickney Pt Marina. Plenty of space and everything works! Check out the German deli on rt 41.

Wonderful Property

Property was well located and well equipped. The house is lovely and very spacious. Bedrooms were massive and very clean. Loved this holiday. There was a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge for us when we arrived which was well needed. The owners were available for any questions we had and dealt with everything efficiently. Next time we go to Sarasota we will definitely go back to this villa. The McNairs Ayr - Scotland

The Perfect Home

We loved this home. We had six adults and two 18th month old toddlers in our group. The home is in great condition inside and out with large rooms. The pool area is a perfect place to relax with plenty of chairs. You are close to the great beaches and all types of shopping as well. Prior to our arrival, the owner went out and purchased an additional high chair and pack N play which was great surprise to us and much appreciated.

We were so happy with Villa Colleen!! Everything was perfect!! Super nice neighborhood, friendly neighbors, nice and quiet! The house was beautiful, and very clean, very well taken care of! The pool was PERFECT!! The house is in close proximity to everything! Check in was flawless- even left us a bottle of wine and chips and salsa! We didn’t want to leave!! We will definitely be back!! Roomy with a nice pool

I liked this house. Had adult family stay for part of our time here. Unfortunately we did have some issues with bugs. Owners and managers were responsive but not really able to take care of the issue. This is an older house and they haven’t done much updating.

Loved the location, we could walk to the stores and often rode the bikes to the beach. (We found back rodes that did not entail us riding on the highway.). The property was not quite as clean as we would have liked on arrival but in the owners defense he had not been able to be onsite at all because of COVID. He was very responsive to our concerns and we have booked again for next year. So all in all a great rental!

Great home for 2-3 couples or large family

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Colleen! This was the best equipped and supplied rental home we have experienced - kitchen appliances and utensils; bath towels; beach towels; bikes; pool toys; welcome book with instructions, beach information and suggested attractions, etc.; brochures, games, cards; everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The pool and lanai area is fantastic and although it was cool during our time in January we still spent lots of time having morning coffee by the pool, playing cards on the lanai, and fixing great meals on the outdoor grill. With the solar heated water we were even able to get in the pool a few times. And the geographic location of Villa Colleen is great - easy, short driving to Siesta Key, all the Sarasota attractions, St. Armands, Venice, Myakka River, and even Bradenton and Anna Maria! The bedroom arrangements are terrific and provide privacy and comfort for 3 couples and / or a large family with children. All in all, a great rental property in the Sarasota area that is hard to beat!

Perfect House & Perfect Location

This house was everything we were looking for. I originally booked it for 2 weeks but we loved it so much we stayed a third week. I booked this house for my family and my sister in law's family. Fully equipped, towels, beach chairs, a beach tent which we used it so much, utensils and etc.. The covered pool area was such a plus, it would prevent bugs from coming in and we enjoyed staying outside a lot. 12 minutes from Siesta Key beach and make sure you visit Turtle beach too. Close to all the stores you need - 5 to 10 min. The only con was the neighbor complaining of us making noise, which on the first day we did make noise past the time, we admitted it and never again we did that, we are very mindful people. But if feels like that whole town goes to sleep at 8pm and we have kids you know and were on vacation. But we were able to manage it and still had a great time. The owners were very attentive and caring and ready to answer our questions. I would stay in this house over and over again.

Can’t wait to return to this paradise!!!

Our family stayed in this beautiful home for Christmas week. We came in from Illinois and brought in children from Indiana and California. Everyone had their own space and absolutely loved it! Erica and Henry were so careful with letting us know all of the ins and outs of the place. So kind of them. Everything went very smoothly– getting into the house, seeing where everything is, and the location! Exceptional! I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone wanting a beautiful spot, refreshment, and everything you would need for a beach stay! Wonderful beds, full kitchen, washer and dryer, more towels than you would ever need, lovely dining room, doors that open out to a lanai with amazing pool, I could go on and on. We absolutely had one of the best times together that we have had. We had a two-year-old and a one-year-old with us and there was plenty a room for them to run around in the house and they had a room of their own. The closets were so big we used one of them as a nursery! I cannot say enough positive about this place. We stayed on the front porch and the lanai and the living area. And on Christmas Eve whole neighborhood was lit with luminaries up and down the streets. Quiet street. Very close to beaches. The garage for us to park. So many amenities. Exceptionally clean and stocked with all you would need. Don’t miss out. This place is a gem. And the owners go above and beyond to help you feel welcome. Can’t wait to go back!

Great family vacation rental!!!

We absolutely loved our month at Villa Colleen. With the three king beds all with their own bathrooms it was perfect for my sisters and I. The home has everything anyone could need! From plenty of beachtowels to beach chairs ,umbrellas ,canopies , coolers,you name it it is there. We spent many days by the beautiful sparkling pool and with the solar heat the water was very warm ! They even left us a bucket with car wash soap and a sponge since we drove 1500 miles with three different cars ! The home is in a great neighborhood and close to many stores, restaurants shops etc. siesta keys beach is close by and is absolutely beautiful. The whitest sand you could ever see ! The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The water heater started to leak and the plumber was there to replace it that very day. They also have four new bikes that you can cruise the neighborhood or even take them to the legacy trail which runs 20+ miles. The backyard is lit beautifully at night and very private… Basically the backyard is screened in and you can leave all three patio doors open to enjoy the tropical Florida air ! So pack a small bag and your sunscreen because that’s basically all you will need .

Great Location and Great House

When we arrive the house was very clean and orderly. We had called and asked if there was a crock pot in the house and were told there was not; however, when we arrived there was a brand new one sitting on the kitchen counter. The house is centrally located to everything you would want to do in Sarasota. A Publix grocery store, a Target, a CVS, a Kohls, and a Subway are less than a mile from the house.The house has a solar heated pool and the temperature of the water was very comfortable and we enjoy spending time around the pool. We ate all our meals outdoors in the screened in area surrounding the pool. There are very few houses in Sarasota that have three masters with king size beds like this house. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. This was our fourth year in Sarasota and this was the best house we have had. He plan to return to Sarasota next February and have rented this house for our stay.

Traumurlaub in der Villa Colleen

Liebe Familie Biendl, Schon zum dritten Mal durften wir in ihrer Villa Colleen Ferien verbringen und wir waren erneut ganz begeistert. Wir hatten uns sehr auf den Urlaub gefreut und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Unsere Terminanfrage wurde innerhalb weniger Stunden beantwortet. Da unser Wunschtermin noch frei war, mussten wir auch nicht lange überlegen. Herr Biendl buchte uns auch noch die passenden Flüge und den Mietwagen dazu, so dass wir uns um nichts mehr kümmern mussten. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir wie immer alles so vorgefunden, wie wir es gewohnt sind. Wir fühlten uns sogleich wieder wie zu Hause. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Badetücher, Strandliegen, Kaffeemaschine, Küchenausstattung, usw. Dementsprechend wenig Gepäck mussten wir mitnehmen. Neu war dieses Mal, dass die Teppiche im Wohnzimmer und im Schlafzimmer, die schon leichte Verschleißerscheinungen aufwiesen, durch Fliesen ersetzt wurden. Das wertet die Villa noch mehr auf. Wir haben bereits für nächstes Jahr gebucht und freuen uns schon sehr darauf.

Liebe Familie Biendl, wir haben zu Zweit 2 wunderschöne Wochen in Ihrem Haus verbracht. Alles war vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag perfekt. Schweren Herzens müssen wir übermorgen unseren Rückflug ins kalte Bayern antreten. Aber so wie Sie uns kennen, werden wir sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal hier gewesen sein. Unser Tip: Wer am Samstag Abend gerne Live-Musik in einer urigen Westernbar erleben möchte, dem empfehlen wir den "White Buffalo Saloon" in der McIntosh Rd., ca. 100 m links, wenn man die Clark Rd. auswärts fährt. Wir hatte wirklich einen wunderschönen Urlaub in eine traumhaften Ambiente! Großzügige und sehr gepflegte Zimmer, die jeweils mit einem eigenen Bad ausgestattet sind. Eine toll ausgestattete, offene Küche und einen riesigen Wohnbereich mit Fernseher und allem drum und dran. Hauptsächlich lagen wir aber den ganzen Tag an dem wunderschönen Pool oder machten ein BBQ im Außenbereich. Stühle und Liegen waren mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Unsere Gruppe bestand aus 9 Personen und wir waren uns alle einig: Das war nicht unser letzter Urlaub in der Villa Colleen!

Ferien Villa Colleen Sarasota

Eine wunderbare Villa, viel Platz, drei Schlafzimmer mit integriertem Bad und riesigem Bett, zwei Kinderzimmer dazu, sowas findet sich selten. Der grosse Pool ist wirklich so blau und der riesengrosse Screen ist nicht einsehbar und durch die vielen Palmen und Pflanzen bietet sich eine sehr private Atmosphaere. Es ist alles mehr als ausreichend vorhanden und es ist an alles gedacht. Geschaefte und Lokale sind in unmittelbarer Naehe vorhanden und die traumhaften Straende sind auch nur 10 Autominuten entfernt. Die Besitzer und die deutschsprachige Vorort Betreuung sind sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haetten es nicht besser treffen koennen und kommen sicher wieder. Bis dann Fam. H.

Our month in a mansion !

From the moment I arrived I felt at home. A few lights were left on to welcome us as well as snacks and wine. Everything is exactly as described on website and all pictures are up to date. Big spacious home gives everyone personal space when needed. Fully stocked, even all you could need for a trip to the beach. All kinds of info, pamphlets, maps. Quiet neighborhood with friendly people, great for long, leisurely walks and even beautiful sunsets close by. Great pool, well maintained. Screened in backyard is ideal, no insects or bugs. Very central area, good driving, easy to get around. Within an hour from Tampa, Fort Myers, St Pete's. Lots to see and do. Siesta Key beach is the best I've seen so far, close by about 15mins drive. Henry was very attentive to our needs and checked in with us periodictly to make sure all was to our liking. Very courteous, generous and helpful. Both Henry and Sabine are friendly, easy going and aim to please. Would definitely recommend this home to everyone. Hopefully I can return again in the future. Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Sarasota y las playas blancas como la nieve de los alrededores son uno de los destinos turísticos más hermosos. A pesar de tener una agencia de viajes, éste es nuestro destino favorito desde hace más de 30 años. Todo limpio y seguro como en Europa y además con hermosas playas como el Caribe. Siempre una experiencia de más de 10 km de largo de playa de ensueño blanca como la nieve en Siesta Key (en 2013 nro. en los EE.UU.) A sólo dos horas en coche de las atracciones de Disney en Orlando o 3 horas a un viaje a Miami.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

¡Fantásticas playas, gran ciudad con mucho para visitar, tiendas y un clima tropical en un país sin complicaciones y limpio!
