The Bancroft Belle!

Two story beautifully updated and contemporary house with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, modern technology features, and fenced-in spacious back yard, located in the heart of city just south of Downtown Omaha 5 blocks from the Zoo. Well furnished, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, granite counter tops. Great living and dining area with downstairs bonus area for family/kids to hang out. Fast internet and all smart TVs! We put a lot of love, time and effort and you will love the result! We sure do :)
The house is less than 5min drive to Downtown Old Market area, 2min drive to Henry Doorly Zoo, and Lauritzen Garden. CHI Health Center and TD Ameritrade Ball field is 2 miles (7min drive). Omaha’s airport is less than 5 miles away and only 10 min drive.
The main floor consists of:
Kitchen has all granite counter tops, new black stainless steel appliances, and plenty of amenities to be able to eat in if you so desire.
Living room has comfortable couch, hand crafted coffee table and end table, additional bench seating space and a 65” Smart TV for your entertainment.
Dining area has a big hand crafted table, designed for our house to seat 8 people.
The master suite comes with a hand crafted wood bed frame and queen size memory foam bed for a great night sleep, a night stand and dresser that were hand crafted to match the bed design, a 50" smart TV. Main Floor has 1 full bathroom for both bedrooms on main level.
Upstairs consists of:
2 Bedrooms, 1 with a queen room and one 2 Full beds
Basement bonus family/kids area (23'x12') has 55” Smart TV installed for the kids to hang out. Setup with gaming chairs, bean bag chairs, and lounge chair. This could also be pushed aside to setup airbed.
Full Bathroom a tub and shower.
The house is equipped with a washer and dryer on main floor available to our guests.
Front has covered porch and back deck table and plenty of seating.
There is plenty of parking in the Driveway for off street parking well with motion lights for the evening.

House was outstanding, excellent quality household items such as towels, kitchen items,, ceiling fans, night lights etc. house was already cool when we arrived, we spent a very hot day at the zoo…. It was very comfortable after a hot day. Parking was exceptional and convenient.

It was a simple process when arriving and leaving the VRBO. Everything was clean and ready for us when we got there. The few times I reached out to Jeremy, he responded quickly. Overall, it was a great experience for our group.

The location was amazing for the activities we had planned. The house itself was great with 4 large bedrooms and three bathrooms. The only issue we had was the upstairs bedroom was pretty warm the first night, but then we found the fan in the closest and it was much nicer the second night. We would definitely stay again if we are heading to Omaha.

I provide either ceiling fans or oscillating fans in every bedroom and throughout the house for guest comfort. For any future guest the home is designed to cool down nicely when the windows and doors are kept closed, especially during the warmer parts of the day. We absolutely loved our stay! Jeremy was incredibly responsive, personable, cordial, and punctual throughout all of our communication, which made everything from booking to check-in feel easy and welcoming.The house itself was wonderful. It’s clear how much time, care, and hard work Jeremy has put into bringing this beautiful 1925 home up to date while still preserving its original charm and character. We live in a 1900 home ourselves, so we know firsthand just how much work goes into modernizing an older house without losing what makes it special — and he has done an amazing job.We also really appreciated all of the amenities and thoughtful touches throughout the home. It was comfortable, well-equipped, and truly felt like a place where the host had considered what guests might need during their stay.Between the beautiful home, great amenities, and excellent communication, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Omaha and would happily recommend Jeremy’s home to other travelers.We love how close it is to the Zoo as well. It is within walking distance, but with the 96/97 degree days, we drove the 4 minutes (/- 1 mile). The zoo has free parking, so it wasn’t a big deal either.

The property was adequate for what we needed (4 bedrooms). Absolutely no frills, the neighborhood looked to be very low income, wouldn’t walk anywhere. Bathrooms and kitchen recently updated, very nice.

The beds are hard and very uncomfortable.the coffee pot didn’t work at all, the baking sheets are old and burns ur food, the stairs going upstairs are very steep and my niece fell down them as there’s no slip mats on the stairs. The neighbors were very loud and letting off fireworks, there was a mustang like drag racing down the street.
