Our Favorite Getaway Spot!
Just had another amazing stay at Dolphin's Point! We have been staying here 2-3 times a year for the last several years and each time is as great as the first. All the upgrades - floors, couches, etc. have added to the comfort of the house. Wonderful location for fishing, relaxing, and close to shopping. Can't wait for our next stay!!!!!!
I am glad you enjoyed your stay and had a good time! I am especially excited to see in person the new wind spiral that you mounted on the back porch railing. It looks amazing in the photos! Thank you so much!
Wow. Just wow place was amazing!!!
The 1st 5 min of being there and walking around and taking pics we saw the dolphins. My wife was excited. We stayed down stairs and up stairs. We had 8 ppl and we fit with no problem. We caught fish everyday we were there. We threw everything back thought my wife and mother fished everyday and night and always caught something. They had fun. The last night of our stay my dad caught a 38" black drum. We were happy. Then 10min later a school of speckled trout came in for 45- 1 hour and my wife and mother couldn't stop catching fish. After that stopped (only because we ran out of live shirmp) we packed everything to leave but left one rod out and sure enough 1am I got me a 42" black drum fought for about 30 min in pitch black. But I got them. My dad doesn't want to be on the website but I will show my black drum! Thank you so much. Please show my pic of the drum I sent
Awesome! Glad to hear about your fishing success! Please e-mail to me directly the photos of the big drum and I will post them. Look forward to hearing from you again!
Dolphin Point House
Our whole family really enjoyed the stay at Dolphin Point. The accomodations were wonderful. My oldest son really enjoyed the lower bedroom accommodations and its ease of access to the pier. The next time we rent I might like to stay in it just to keep from hauling my 370 pounds up and down the stairs. We caught fish under the lights at night and relaxed and rested during the days. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! We will definitely recommend it to our freinds!
Thank you Norman! Yes staying in the downstairs room does have it's advantages. Let the young work off some energy doing laps from the stairs to the end of the pier! We look forward to hearing from you again.
We Love Staying Here !!!
We have stayed here several times and it is WONDERFUL !!! Beautiful and comfortable home with great views of Copano Bay. Daily dolphin and bird sightings. The new downstairs bedroom and bathroom are a great new addition which means we can have more family and friends with us. The new downstairs bathroom is something you would expect to find at a resort or spa. We always enjoy time on the super-long pier, and we have been lucky to catch fish every time we have stayed. We love staying here and we have already scheduled our next visit.
Thank your for posting a reveiw. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to hearing from you again
This was our first vacation with our 5 month old. We went with a group of friends and had a great time! We stayed in the 3rd bedroom which was downstairs with it's own bathroom. It was the perfect setup since we didn't want our little one to disturb anyone else at night. Everything was so clean and well maintained! Our little one could take a nap inside while we spent time outdoors grilling and fishing. It was the perfect getaway for us. There are beaches close by that we went to during the day and had so much fun! We would recommend this vacation home on the bay to everyone. Thanks for having us!!
Thank you for posting a review Casie. I a glad you enjoyed yourself and I hope we hear from you again.
Excellent trip! Great house! Fantastic memories!
My wife, my 15 month old son, and I went for a weekend excursion, and stayed at this beautiful home on Copano Bay. It couldn't have been better. We arrived in time to see the sunset, then we had a nice dinner on the picnic table overlooking the water. We stayed in the downstairs room, which could be called the penthouse. Beautifully decorated, easy access to the pier, and very comfortable overall. It was especially nice since our son could "get away" from the group to nap when needed. Great location. Great amenities. Great entertaining with friends. Even great fishing. We usually go once a year to the Rockport area, but now that we've found this place, we will try to make trips more frequently. I highly recommend this property.
Thank you for the review Roy! I am glad you had a good time. I agree, the downstairs suite is a great get away from a larger party- whether it's the grandbaby or the grand parents ;o) Hope to hear from you again!
