This light, bright, spacious condo with breathtaking views of the Gulf is just steps away from the sugary white sands of the beach and the gentle waves. Picture yourself waking up in the king-sized bed in the master suite and looking out the sliding glass door, which accesses the balcony, to the sunrise over the ocean. Walk across the new ceramic tile to your private bathroom.
Move to the large updated kitchen, with new hickory cabinets, large pantry and new appliances, that is well organized and supplied and has many counter top appliances to make your morning coffee, smoothie, or waffles. Wake your children from the twin beds or the full sized bottom bunk bed in the third bedroom to join you for breakfast on the huge balcony that overlooks the pool and gazebo as you plan your day.
Bring friends and grandparents along on your vacation since there's a king sized bed in the second bedroom and a comfortable sleeper sofa in the den. You'll all enjoy this very clean beachfront condo with new ceramic tile floors.
After a day at the beach, the many area amusements, or Putt Putt golf or Adventure Island which are across the street, gather in the large den on the chaise sofa, love seat, or rocker recliner to enjoy the 40' flatscreen TV and Blu Ray DVD player. Flat screen TVs are available in all the bedrooms and Blu Ray players are in 2 of the bedrooms. The twin room has a flatscreen with a built in DVD player. Escape to stretch out on the chaise lounge in the master bedroom with a good book if you prefer.
Pack fewer clothes to play in since there's a full sized washer/dryer in the unit. Invite friends you make on the beach for dinner since the pub style dining table seats eight, plus there are 4 bar stools at the long breakfast bar, bringing seating easily up to twelve for meals. Take time to step from the den back onto the balcony to appreciate the gorgeous views of spectacular sunsets over the Gulf. Indulge yourselves at any of the many nearby restaurants, including Wintzell's right across the street.
Run up the road to Wal-Mart for anything you forgot and find, even closer by, a post office, pharmacy, and grocery store. Then park in one of the many available parking spaces as you return.
Remember this is a no-smoking, no pet, but extremely kid and family friendly unit in a small building with only 35 units and a very private beach. Come soon for a great vacation getaway!
My life long dream was to have a place right on the beach and in 2008 my husband and I realized that dream. We love our condo and relish going there as often as possible. We have a good time walking on the beach together especially at sunset. We also love it when our grandkids get to come and enjoy the Gulf with us. We enjoy renting to people who also love going to the beach and making memories.
Laura Mohar purchased this condo in 2008
We love the beautiful white, clean beaches at Orange Beach. They are as pretty or prettier than Destin and Ft. Walton Beach, but not as crowded or commercialized. Orange Beach is also closer to our home in Houston. Orange Beach is very family friendly and inviting. The residents there are the friendliest and the most helpful of any I have encountered.
Our building is smaller, and has only 35 units and we like that the beach is very open in front of our building. We enjoy sitting in the gazebo or picnicking there. We spend a lot of time on our huge balcony, also. Our condo is close to groceries, restaurants, churches, the post office, and to the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Foley, AL, which has lots of shopping, including the Tanger Outlet Mall can be reached in minutes.
My (pregnant) wife, two kids (ages 4 and 2) and I had a very lovely experience at this condo during a recent 6-day visit. We couldn't ask for a better location at this price: an elevator ride down 5 floors and maybe 75 paces until we were on the lovely sand of Orange Beach. Not only was it convenient to beach-visits, but it was also clean, comfortable and the owners were genuinely kind and accommodating. The pool, though a bit small by comparison, was spotless and perfect for our situation with small children, with a covered picnic area conveniently nearby. The condo itself is spacious enough to comfortably add a few more, but the four of us relished the extra room.
All in all, this was a great experience and we know exactly where we'll be staying next September when we get back to the beach! We recommend highly.
The condo had everything in it. It was nicely done and comfortable. Beautiful beach, which we really enjoyed. The weather wasen't great but had a nice time. The owners are very nice to work with. The condo is very roomy and can sleep 10 people.
Our family of four decided to do something different for the holidays, so we decided Orange Beach. Laura was so awesome with table and chairs set on the balcony. We were also given buckets for the kids to play with it. Check in was easy with the access code that we received and we were given some awesome suggestions of good places to go eat. This will not be our last time. It was great and we made a lot of memories.
Our family of three spent the week of Thanksgiving here at the condo and even had some company join us for the holiday. The views are fabulous, the weather was still nice enough to beach - comb and for my husband and our son to throw the football around. Spacious living with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, playing at the beach, and watching the sunset from our condo. Relaxation at its best.
Even though we cooked a lot at the condo, we managed to try a few local spots and loved Papa Rocco's for the best pizza and live entertainment. The Original Oyster Bar was great too.
Have already set up to return for Spring Break and can't wait. The owners of this condo are the friendliest and super to work with. No doubt that we will continue our stays and recommend to others.
We had a great vacation here. This is a great spot on the beach in a smaller, less crowded building with a fast elevator. The condo was clean and adequately equipped but be sure to come with your own dish soap and toilet paper since none was provided. We left our extras for the next renter. Notes posted inside warn not to leave furniture in any different position and to not stain or lose any of the towels, under threat of additional fees. I was charged a late fee because my last payment was one day late, which had been stated in the contract, but the Aowner's return of my deposit was several days past the 14 days promised. The internet connection is fine for checking email but not strong or consistent enough for anyone desiring to work while at the beach. As I said, a good vacation, but I wouldn't rent from this owner again.
This was our first visit to the Alabama coast after many years visiting Myrtle beach. It will not be our last.
First off, Laura was a gem to deal with. She was prompt, thorough and quick to reply. She should write a book on condo management! Everything that she advertised was as promised. Beds were extremely comfortable and interior was in exceptional condition. Keyless entry was so appreciated upon arrival because there was no need to check in at a management company office after a long drive and no need to worry about who has the key while at the beach. Just go to the door and punch in the code.
Because it is a smaller building, elevator wait time was minimal. Beach was not crowded as it appeared at nearby large condos. Pool was always clean and welcoming for a quick dip after a long day at the beach. Condo could sleep 2 couples and still have room for 4 kids in room with bunkbeds. (Not sure of what the max persons allowable is.)
Do not hesitate to rent this condo for the week. You will not be disappointed
There is lots to do in the area, including the Zoo, a recreation center, and a library close by. More local attractions are listed in our ad (Putt Putt golf, Adventure Island, etc), and the Pensacola Aviation Museum is about 30 miles away. There are many great restaurants including Wintzells, directly across the street. The Neighborhood grocery Wal-Mart is about half a mile away. A Winn Dixie and Publix grocery stores are each less than a mile away, and there is a Wal-Mart Super Center about 5 miles up the road. There is the Tanger outlet mall, a Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, and Books-a-Million all in nearby Foley. AL. There are also many area churches. There is even a
Directly across the street is Wintzells Restaurant, which is good. Lulu's is supposed to also be good and is owned by Jimmy Buffett's sister. For family fun
and good Southern style cooking, Lambert's Restaurant, 'the home of the throwed rolls' is
entertaining as well as having great food. I have also eaten at Cobalt's near the Caribe and it had really delicious entrees'.
You might want to check out the Zoo that is
there. It is small, but has a great reputation and was even featured on TV once. There is a Water Park along 59 also and the Tanger outlet mall.
