Family friendly townhome close to the water. Blue Diamond offers water access and community pool as well as high-speed internet. Close to Memorial Park with playground and launch access. Sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

This townhouse does not provide linens and towels. Please bring your own or call us to rent them.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund  of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year in a row of renting this place for Memorial Day weekend. Love the location for lighthouse watching and pony spotting. Also loved crabbing off the deck. Weather didn't cooperate this year but even a bad weekend on Chincoteague is a great time.

great option for a quiet place with great views.

We enjoy staying in the Light House Estate area. This property was well equipped with all kitchen/cooking items needed. Bring cleaning supplies as the floors, walls and cabinets were in need of scrub down. Overall would stay here again. The community pool is a great option and access to your own dock is a plus with views of the lighthouse.

Very clean

The townhome was very clean when we arrived. It is a very quiet property and having dock access was great for crabbing with the kids or launching a kayak. Down the road from the park and bike rentals. The best part is the pool for the family to enjoy! We already booked another stay here in August.

Overall good stay

The location is great. It had great amenities including a pool shared among the apartments, full kitchen, 2.5 baths, washer and dryer. However, towels, toilet paper, soap, and paper towels are not provided. There were maybe two kitchen towels and two dish rags. The cleanliness was ok, some of the kitchen utensils I had to wash before I used them. Overall good stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The upstairs AC needs a fix - it is VERY hot upstairs compared to downstairs. No lights worked in the living room. I am happy to change bulbs but no spares were anywhere to be found. Also, a bin for ice is needed in the freezer. Lastly, the woman who kept asking where we are staying and "guarding" the pool got to be very annoying. Perhaps dedicated pool tags per unit would help.

Reviewer Comments: Although we weren't here for a vacation, we appreciated this place when we we had to move out of our own home for a few days while some repairs were being made. It was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. Nice location looking out to Assateague and the lighthouse.

All of the mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable and made getting a good nights sleep hard. Other than that it was a great affordable place!

Reviewer Comments: Our family has been vacationing on the island for 8 years and we have stayed in a couple different rentals, this property description and pictures were spot on; great location and views from the pool. Our only minor complaints were the upstairs was hot, we stayed here in August but even the evening/nights were still hot in the upstairs. And, the kitchen cupboards where the dishes and utensils are kept were very musty/moldy smelling, which after a week of us opening and shutting them made the downstairs smell. Not sure if that is from people putting dishes away wet, we didn’t actually see mold but the smell was very strong. Other then that, in general the rental was clean.

Thanksgiving/ 40th Anniversary

Reviewer Comments: 1st time visiting in November, many restaurants hubs and I was alone for 4 days, when our daughter's family arrived, we needed more seating in the living room. We loved traveling on the service road and seeing the ponies.

The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean, the carpet looks very used but it's probably hard to keep a light colored carpet clean. The location was nice and quiet, a bike ride from the center, the pool lots of fun and all in all a great place to stay.

Comfortable

The blue diamond was an excellent choice for us. It was quiet and lots of wildlife in the marsh. Wish there would have been chairs at the dock area. Having some health issues this was an obstacle. Pool was easy to access.
