Ski Bowl vacation rentals

Hands down the best VRBO property I've ever stayed in. The condo is immaculate - modern, well stocked with all the essentials and a few extra goodies - wonderful furniture and bonus pellet stove that kept the house toasty warm! The photos don't do the condo justice. Property manager was super responsive, instructions within the condo easy to follow and thorough...I can't say enough about this place! It is defnitely starred as my "Go to" when I return to Tahoe Donner for future ski getaways! Only warning is having 4wheel drive is no joke - the mountain roads in this area are slipperty with snow and ice!

Clean and convenient, perfect for a ski weekend, thanks so much! Just a note, the unusual snow situation made for some tricky navigation into the condo - not so bad but I am glad we didn’t have tons of luggage or elderly parents along.

We had a wonderful time here. You can see the chairlifts from nearly every window. The heating really works, almost too well. We actually had to turn it off overnight so as not to overheat. The beds were reasonably comfortable, as good as can be expected in a rental. The kitchen is really well-equipped, but you will want to bring your own aluminum foil if you need it for covering stuff in the oven. We loved it and will definitely book again, though next time we will go directly through the property management company to avoid the crazy VRBO fees.

Lisa's place is updated and clean, and we loved the fact that it's literally just steps away from the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area. Her unit is cozy but functional. The only "complaint" was regarding the sofa bed. We pulled it out, and it felt like it was slightly reclined still, but that could also be user error more than anything else. The trundle bed was very comfortable, and we had no complaints. Otherwise, the place was perfect! And Lisa had great communication too. Her check-in instructions were very comprehensive and worked seamlessly when we arrived late Friday night. And she even graciously extended our check-out time since there was no other guest checking-in that day. Five stars for Lisa and her place!

The condo is just as described and is totally comfortable. Standouts are the amazingly comfortable bed (like sleeping on a cloud) and the fantastic water pressure in the shower. Nothing to do with the hosts or the condo but it was a bit farther from downtown truckee than I hoped. 15-20 minute drive to get into town.
