Good Value

This unit is fairly basic, but it was a good value for us and met our needs. The pros: very spacious unit, nice view of the pond in the back, not a busy neighborhood, always able to park right in front of unit, washer/dryer, internet, etc. The cons: unit backs up to the highway and can get very noisy rom the passing cars, checking in and getting a gate card was a bit cumbersome (they charge $10 for a card but you get it back, so be sure to keep it out of the heat and return your card!), floors are really squeaky (I've stayed in another unit and those floors were also very squeaky, so I think this was more the fault of the builder), there are cameras outside the front and rear doors, which made us feel like we were being watched, and the unit probably had not ever been updated since it was built (i.e., original countertops, carpet upstairs, etc.). Again, though, for what we paid, I feel we got a good value.

Looks are deceiving

U walk into this house and it was so Warm and welcoming until u start to walk around there are 2 cameras on this property watching ur every move out side. I laid down with my child at night to have a cockroach crawl across my pillow over all in the 2 days we was there we had to of seen at least 30 of them!! The building manager never returned my call so I complained to the man listed on the web site. His response was very fast but his property manager is so unprofessional its not even funny the showed up while we was getting into the car my children said hi they never said a word to us walked right threw us into the house and dropped off a hot spot bug spray. Rudely left like I put a damper in thier day. The cost of this property is not worth it. Very uneasy to be at if it wasn't for us being stuck in hurricane Ian we would of left as soon as we got here. I feel ripped off after this I had to search everything I've had to make sure I didn't have bug, dealing with people being overly loud, unprofessional property manager I will never be going back

We love travelling and often go on long drives across the nation. Hosting came out of our natural instinct of being a guest. We completely understand the needs of a traveler and try to meet or exceed the expectations.

Why they chose this property

We stayed here around a decade ago, when we visited Disney with kids. We loved the serene atmosphere of Emerald Island Resort, combined with many amenities like swimming pools, play grounds and etc. This was one of the very few resorts in 5 mile radius of Disney world. Universal and Sea world are just 15-20 minutes away.

I bought this condo in 2017 and use it as our vacation home, whenever we wanna runaway from cold weather of Tennessee, where I have been living.. We rent this out to y'all great people whenever it's not in use.

What makes this property unique

Emerald Island Resort has more than 300 plus homes in this 300 acre area. But my property is unique in the sense that it has a natural pond right in the backyard.. And the backyard is completely private with no other foot traffic, except these 5-6 houses.
You have a beautiful view of the Pond, sitting right on the dining table or living room couch. When you exit from the back sliding glass door, you step into a great experience of meeting the symbol of Florida, the Gators and thick woods on the sides of the pond.
