We stayed for 5 days and were very comfortable in this well stocked, cozy house. It was a very clean older house, but we found it a wonderful place to stay and have stayed multiple times. Very quiet neighborhood.
We had a fantastic stay at Johanna's home last weekend. The house was cozy, well appointed and in a great location for our trip. Johanna was a fantastic and thoughtful host. I would definitely stay there again.
This was the perfect place to stay for my son and I while in town. It was convenient to my family and central to lots of things. The host was excellent at communication and the house was very clean and well supplied.
We only had one night but wish we had more time! We were in town to tour UNCA with our daughter-the proximity to campus was excellent. The cottage has a vintage vibe and all amenities were considered-including everything you need to make s’mores!! We will be back!
We enjoyed an overnight stay on a snowy weekend while we were in the area for a gymnastics meet. Johanna, the host is wonderful! Her communication is wonderful and she keeps her word. When inclement weather impacted our travel, she gave us an update on road conditions and the best route to take. The property was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed during our stay. Best of all, it is located in a quiet neighborhood convenient to many local attractions!
Johanna has created a very cozy, cool and comfortable landing place for a weekend get away to the NC mountains. The house had everything we needed for our party of 4 adults, including my 86 year old daddy. He said the house reminded him of his childhood home, only with more creature comforts! We slept like babies with the open windows to the sound of gentle rain…doesn’t get much better than that!
House was as advertised. Clean house in a quite neighborhood and close to downtown Ashville. Kitchen had everything we needed for the weekend. Would stay again.
This was such a great find! We had 4 in our group for a ladies trip to see some music and this cottage was perfect. Easy check-in and check-out. Two bathrooms was nice to have. Location was close to town. The gardens and plants around the house and fire pit were beautiful. We enjoyed a s’more and a fire one night and also enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Cute decorations and comfy beds too. Would highly recommend.
A sweet little house with all the comforts of home. It felt like we were staying with family. So many nice touches that made our stay memorable. Loved the convenience to DT and highway access.
I rented this property for my partner’s birthday weekend. There were two couples, and the bungalow’s 2 beds and 2 baths left plenty of space for all of us to comfortably spend a few days together. The house was adorably decorated and practically stocked with everything you’d need. It’s also PERFECTLY located. We were within 10-15 minutes of pretty much everything (River Arts District, Downtown Asheville, West Asheville), so it was very easy to come and go. Wonderful stay!
