Great, very family friendly. My 3 year old loved seeing the animals and taking a walk in the woods. There was a pack and play and a high chair for the younger kid too.

There is a very large meadow adjacent to a lake so there is plenty of acreage to exercise your dogs. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable.

Great stay.

Great cabin and we had a wonderful stay. I only wish they had all the rules they have for animals in the listing. The night before we left we were sent a message about our dog needing to be crated if we left. Last minute we were able to find arrangements for our dog. Once we got to the cabin it’s in the rules that the dogs aren’t allowed on the furniture and not allowed to pee in the grass only in the designated dog area. Our little dog is allowed on furniture at home and sleep with us so this would had been very hard for her. Other then the animal issue, the cabin was great and the host answered all of our questions right away. In the end we were able to spend a lot of time in the city since we didn’t have our pup. I would just list all the rules for the animals in the description.

Our stay was wonderful. It was very clean and the shower was nice and hot. Lots of essentials provided. Beds were very comfy. She showed my son and I the chickens and ducks she has on the property, that was cool! The property was beautiful and we found a really nice creek to splash around in. My kid and dog enjoyed themselves. Jillian was very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying around Blairstown NJ

Loved my stay! Wonderful woodsy trails on the property and close to so many interesting places. Extremely reasonable price for an “apartment” that Is the size of three typical hotel rooms! Owner was wonderful and so easy going. Loved it and would return.

Easy, friendly, calm setting. Our second time staying, this time without 2 feet of snow on the ground. Quiet, rural setting without being too isolated. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful Home

Host was very attentive and present. Her daughter was so helpful and we loved their animals. The house was as pictured. The property was remarkable. We just wish we knew we were sharing the property with 2 other families in addition to the host because we were looking for more seclusion. Otherwise we were happy with our stay .

Excellent and Memorable Stay

Very tidy and lovely accommodation equipped with everything you need. Jillian and Family are great host and there when you need them. She shared all the info you need about neighborhood. Animals on the farm were super cute and adorable. My daughter loved them a lot. Thanks Jillian and family for a wonderful weekend. We will be back.

Cozy Cottage- Girls weekend

We had a great stay at Cozy Cottage. It was clean and comfortable and in a great location for Blairstown and Belvedere as well as hiking. Unfortunately due to rain on one day we did not explore the hikes on the property but plan to the next time we book it.

Beautiful Property!

My kids and I were SO pleased with our stay here! It was just what we needed - spending some quiet time in nature, Ms. Poette’s very friendly cat, and beautiful animals and people. Will be coming back again, Lord willing. I highly recommend this quiet getaway!

Into the Woods!!

If you really want to get away from the city and get back to nature, consider this destination. It is very rural, with lots of trees and very quiet. It is only about 10 minutes away from the grocery store and several restaurants, but it is an oasis of quiet. We saw rabbits running about on the property on a daily basis.

Calm, quiet setting

Was exactly what we were looking for in an easy getaway from city life. Space was large enough for 3 of us to hang out on a snowy day without being on top of one another, and should be more than adequate to accommodate a larger group. Good size kitchen, solid wifi, laundry on-site. Not super-deluxe, but very clean, well-maintained basic space in a rural setting. Hosts were incredibly friendly; with great communication before, during and after our stay. Would definitely visit again!

We enjoy hosting guests in our three farm-stay listings, including a 2 BR+ single family "Lake-view Cottage", as well as the private garden level "Cozy Lake-view Apartment" and the "Gorgeous Lake-view Apartment" in our Farmhouse. My daughter and I give tours of our chickens, bunnies and ducks, Please send a request for interest in Vermiculture, Guided Animal Tracking (the snow is great), wild foraging, outdoor games, wading in stream pools, forest mandalas, When we are not working here on the farm, we enjoy hiking, cooking local homegrown foods, and reading.

Our many acres of Farmland has easy access to NYC via Rt. 80, as well as Delaware Water Gap Recreational Area. Rest and take in the spacious views of the fields and Lake, walk the trails, and enjoy all fun the local area has to offer. Skiing and Tubing is coming soon! Within a half there are Ski Areas. Summer brings Kayaking, canoeing and tubing just nearby; there are several great hiking parks nearby, including the Appalachian trail, or the extensive mountain trails at Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area. Don't miss the popular Lakota Wolf Preserve, as well as a new Alpaca Experience just a short distance away. Make Reservations, as they fill quickly.

Enter down a long natural stone driveway and cross over a bridge to enter this 80 Acre property. We have our own trails and a new one through the woods to the lake. Streams run throughout the property, and we have farm tours as well as other activities available for children and adults.
