RIAD 212 is a magnificent little 3 bedroom riad in the heart of the medina of Marrakech. Very easy to access, it also allows parking in the immediate vicinity, which makes it a major asset. Entirely new, its bohemian chic decoration is resolutely trendy and diffuses a shimmering atmosphere in each of the rooms of the riad. The 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms each have a bathroom with sink, toilet and walk-in shower. Built on 3 levels, the riad offers a nice refreshment pool of 3m x 1m on the ground floor and a sublime roof top terrace, equipped with an outdoor bar, a space for lunch and a large bed canopy conducive to siestas, all overlooking the roofs of the medina.You will always benefit from the service of a housekeeper who will provide cleaning and cooking on request. Très beau, rien à dire de négatif, en plein dans la médina avec toutes les petites échoppes pour ach

Le Riad est vraiment beau et très calme même en étant en plein dans la Medina.Le toit terrasse est vraiment sympa et l’emplacement est parfait.Il faut juste se méfier de certaines personnes ds les rues de la médina qui paraissent très gentils au départ pour t’aider mais qui te réclame très vite un billet(c’est dommage mais c’est comme ça).Le personnel quand à lui qui s’occupe de du Riad est très bien, très gentil et à l’écoute.Si je dois retourner à Marrakech je reprends le même endroit sans hésiter. Rien c’est très bien.

Un très beau Riad... un très beau séjour !

Nous avons été ravies de ce lieu de séjour ! Le Riad est superbe, grand, bien agencé, clair... impeccable... et Karima, notre hôte a pris de soin de nous avec un sourire et une gentillesse inégalables ! Elle nous a régalé d'un délicieux tajine au poulet... que du bonheur r! Un endroit à recommander, c'est certain !

Horrible experience!! Housekeeper stole money from my suitcase!

Hosts did not respond to any of my questions. Instead my inbox was spammed with multiple emails with different links for payment. I replied to each email asking questions, still no reply. I had to involve VRBO to ask if this a scam and they had to verify that the company was legit. VRBO then contacted them and then they started responding to my questions. The websites were still confusing and I still got a lot of spam. The booking first off, there is a thief amongst the staff. We suspect the cleaning lady because on the first day, this thief had to open our luggage, rifle through underwear and toiletry bag to take €100 out of my luggage. Don't be fooled by the comparable prices - everything is a la carte and very pricey. Most other roads include breakfast, not here! For instance, €25 per person for dinner, when you could go out to a nice restaurant for dinner and spend €25 for 2 people, drinks included. The pool was dirty on our arrival for several days with no attempts to clean it. When I asked for it to be cleaned, the cleaning lady said "it was decorative, not for guest use" . Shower drainage and sewage from day 2. Shower didn't drain and we had to stand in dirty shower water with disgusting soapy scum every day. The sewer would occasionally stink during the day. We ran out of hot water multiple time. Housekeeper spent about 5 hours everyday"cleaning" (could be done in 2 hours or less), talking loudly on cell phone. Zero privacy! Do NOT recommend!!

Prachtige Riad en fantastische gastenservice

We hebben verbleven in een heel mooie Riad, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het was heerlijk om ‘s avonds op het dakterras te genieten van de rust midden in de drukke stad. We hadden ontbijt geregeld en dat was super -elke ochtend kwam een vriendelijk echtpaar dat een heerlijk ontbijt voor ons maakte. Vervolgens werd het hele huis ook nog eens schoongemaakt. De riad ligt midden in een woonwijk, binnen een paar stappen sta je op de markt met brood, groenten en fruit, water etc. Binnen 5 minuten sta je bij de moskee van Kasbah, binnen 10-15 minuten bij bezienswaardigheden als het palais el badii. Verhuurder was goed bereikbaar, behulpzaam en sprak goed Engels. Een aanrader!

Exceptionnel !

Je donnerais 6 étoiles si possible ! Honnêtement, on avait l'impression d'arriver dans un hôtel 5*, avec un guide local imprimé sur mesure de la région. Le logement lui-même correspond également à la grande hospitalité des propriétaires - les photos ne lui rendent pas justice. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain (les salles de bains n'ont que de hauts murs et pas de portes, alors assurez-vous que vous êtes à l'aise avec la personne avec qui vous partagez une chambre). Les lits sont confortables et chaque chambre dispose de la climatisation. Tout l'endroit est magnifiquement décoré et était juste un endroit idéal pour se détendre. La cuisine est utilisable malgré ce que dit la description d'Airbnb, mais le propriétaire offre également un excellent petit-déjeuner (et à un prix raisonnable) dans son autre riad à environ 5-10 minutes à pied - qui est également aussi bien décoré, certainement visiter si vous en avez l'occasion. La terrasse sur le toit est incroyablement confortable après une longue journée pour s'asseoir et prendre un verre dans le salon et offre une superbe vue sur le coucher du soleil. L'emplacement est peut-être à environ 10-15 minutes à pied de la place principale et se trouve en bordure de la Médina. Il est très calme la nuit. Les rues pour s'y rendre peuvent être un peu intimidantes avec les mêmes escrocs qui essaient de vous dire que la rue est fermée, mais on s'habitue à les ignorer. Dans l'ensemble, un séjour fantastique et j'y séjournerais volontiers à nouveau.
