Located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Oak Hill, Florida, a five-minute idle from the world-famous flats of Mosquito Lagoon, our three unit fish camp with private docks and on-site launch ramp is the ideal base of operations for skiff anglers, kayakers, stand-up paddle boarders, birdwatchers and other wildlife enthusiasts.

Bring your own boat, fish with one of the lagoon's accomplished guides, or use one of our complimentary Native Watercraft kayaks to explore the area. With our unique lagoon redfish population, the fish are here all year, and we'll make sure you find them.

Just an hour from Orlando, two hours from Jacksonville, and two-and-a-half from Tampa/St. Pete, Mosquito Lagoon Fish Camp is a perfect weekend getaway for Florida anglers. It’s also a favorite adventure destination for visitors from all over the country and beyond.

Everything was great. Rented a boat for the week and it was delivered to the dock and had a great time all week. The main reason for trip was to watch Artemis 2 launch from the boat as close as they would let us get and it was awesome. Even caught the Falcon 9 launch at 7:54am next day and Atlas 4 at 1:30am.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. All appliances worked well. I am a nature photographer and the little balcony over looking the Mosquito Lagoon was amazing.Beautiful sunrises, eagles, ospreys, pelicans and dolphins right out the back door. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning.

Another fantastic stay at the redfish cabin on the river. Host Christine & Doug were the best and easy to deal with. Dock was perfect and boat ready. Location is easy to access with more parking spaces than ever needed. Local fish house is within walking distance and serves the best fish chowder and fried shrimp anywhere. We will be back soon…..thank you to the hosts.

Having trouble with my e-mail so I couldn’t really communicate with the host. But really didn’t need to. Everything was fantastic. All the important information was provided perfectly. The cabin was fantastic. Only issue was the extremely low tides. Had to be careful with our 17ft center console navigating the 1.5 ft shallows. Those with skiffs or gheenoes had no issues at all. This was our second stay here. Absolutely would recommend the Redfish cabin. Great place, very comfortable and clean.

This cabin was exactly what we needed… clean, cozy and just what we needed for a quick getaway. We were able to launch our boat here, and it was just steps out our back door. Neighbors and staff were super friendly. Very quiet and nice place to relax.

Everything that we needed to wind down for a few days. Having the use of 3 kayaks was a bonus. Beautiful sunrises and as on the water as one can be without being on a boat. Very friendly people around the area, great restaurant down the street. Very clean.

This is a great little cottage on the water with docks. It looks out over the ICW, and you can watch dolphin and manatees right off the dock. We went kayaking every day. There are beaches 20 minutes away.

I’m not used to staying in such a nice place. The cabin was meticulous and beautifully decorated. I was just looking for a basic place that was close to good fishing grounds. The redfish cabin far exceeded it. We ended up catching some trophy redfish. It was a great stay and Christine was very accommodating
