Destin West/Gulfside/Completely Renovated 2020

Welcome to Destin West G204. 2 Bedrooms, 2 full baths and a bunk room, just steps from the white sandy beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Purchased in October 2020, we spent the rest of 2020 updating and renovating the unit. With new ceramic tile floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, this unit is like new and ready for your family to enjoy.
Destin West, Gulfside G204 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with a bunk room and pull out sofa bed in the living room. The unit has a large TV Smart mounted in the living room and a new smart TV in the master bedroom and guest room as well as a small TV in the bunk room.

The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking, all new stainless steel appliances and a Keurig due coffee maker (works with pods and has a traditional coffee pot). There is also a full size washing machine and dryer in the condo.

The balcony has a table and chairs, has a view of the Gulf and overlooks the giant pool and hot tub. Maybe the best pool on the island. We also have some beach chairs, floats, boogie boards and a beach cart on the balcony that you are free to use as well! Just put them back before you leave.

Great condo for our friend trip!

Me and my girlfriends had a great time in this condo. It is nicely decorated, has quality furnishings and kitchen items. Beds are comfortable. We loved that they have a high top table on the deck (so many condos don't and your view is of the railing)!The location is great - you have a view of the pool and the ocean. And it's a quick walk to the beach and a few restaurants. Getting an Uber/Lyft was very quick and easy as well.

Great place!

Well appointed condo. Had everything we needed for a quick beach trip. Just brought ourselves and our clothes, and food! Owners very responsive. We had a great time!! Will definitely return!

Family Vacation

The condo was exactly as described with lots a additional kitchen and bath supplies as well as a great variety of beach chairs, umbrella, floats and a wagon. There were even beach towels available for our use. We were just a couple of blocks, on the same side of the road, as The Crab Trap, Floyd’s, and other great restaurants and activities for our grandchildren that stayed on the bay side of Destin West. Our only disappointment was with the beach chair services, which we did not use. They place chairs so close together with the big umbrellas, that unless you get out by 8am all the ocean front views have been taken. I hear this is a problem all across Destin not just at adestin

We had a fabulous time! The condo was perfect! The location was great for using the pool and beach. The condo was stocked with all the extras! The owners put do much thought into details that the guests may need. We will definitely re-book in this condo.

Great location

Had a great vacation. We really appreciated the beach toys and beach bag for our use. It was also super nice to have plenty of things like trash bags and detergent there already.

The unit was what was advertised , but the property needs to be cleaned or repainted . The elevators need to be repaired as well!!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stay at Destin West every year. This is our first time in this particular unit and it was lovely. Lots of new upgrades and stocked with lots of extras in the kitchen as well as on the patio as far as beach/pool gear. Highly recommend.

In 2018, I was lucky enough to meet and marry the love of my life, Linda. Earlier this year we decided to make it our goal to buy a condo at the beach, and someday have 10 or more vacation rental properties. We love the beach, and it has been a life long dream of mine to own a place in Fort Walton/Destin. Most of our vacations are spent at some beach, Hilton Head, Destin/Fort Walton, the Jersey Shore, Mexico and the Caribbean. I have been coming to the Fort Walton/Destin area since I was a kid and it just feels like home to me.

We looked in Hilton Head and Destin, but immediately fell in love with Destin West. It really is the perfect spot for us. The gorgeous water and white sand beaches. The pools, the lazy river and all the hot tubs. We can take long walks along the quiet beach to the left or boogie board for hours (which we do often). We also love to fish from the dock on property or the pier. We keep our boat in Fort Walton, its just a small jet boat, but it is perfect for cruising the bay for dolphin or hanging out for an afternoon at Crab Island.

In addition to the beach, we love traveling, tennis, biking, hiking and pickleball!

We immediately saw the amazing potential in Gulfside 204, and put an offer on it that very day. A great unit that needed some updating. We made it our project, our baby, and we cannot believe how great it looks now. The pictures don't do it justice. With new hardwood floors, granite countertops and all new stainless steel appliances, fresh paint and lots of new furniture, my wife's vision of the place is now a reality.

What really makes Destin West perfect for us is the property. The Gulfside has that huge pool and a great hot tub and is right there by the beach and the bayside has such amazing pools, the lazy river (which I can personally float around in for hours) and the dock/marina.

Destin West has so much to offer and is close to all the other amazing activities in Fort Walton and Destin. We never run out of fun things to do. It may be just taking a walk on the beach or along the bay, fishing off the marina dock, taking our boat to Crab Island, grabbing dinner at one of the many many restaurants that overlook the gulf or bay or heading to San Destin to the piano bar. Whatever we choose, its always a blast.
