Lovely house

Beautiful house

Wonderful property, superb facilities, great position near the port and very, very nice host - welcoming and accommodating. Parking on the street though.

Great base to explore the Normandy coast

Well maintained, clean property that had everything we needed. Host was very helpful re check in/out and giving recommendations. Great location in the village, just a short stroll from amenities.

Great location

Great location to see the sights of Normandy. Comfortable rental with everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Walking distance to shops and restaurants at the pier.

Great place for visiting D-Day sites

Great place to stay in a great location for visiting all the sites. Restaurants walking distance. Very clean house with everything you need. Listing does say it has a hot tub but that must be an error. Great place overall!

Magnificent stay

Don't hesitate to stay here. This is a superb location rental and Geraldine is the most amazing woman. I have never received such a warm welcome, individualized guidance and great recommendations from a host! She responded immediately to our questions and we would be very happy to stay again. Lovely Property - Fantastic Location

We were visiting Normandy for a tour of the WW2 landmarks, this lovely property was the perfect base. Port-en-Bessin-Huppain itself was perfect with a great selection bars and restaurants. The property was beautifully clean with everything you could need, including sheets and towels, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. 5 stars are not enough.

Awesome Stay

We had a great time in Normandy! The house is a short driving distance to all the attractions, walk to the port, and a nice market by the port on Sundays. Geraldine was very communicative and answered us quickly. Even reminded us to visit the Sunday market. House is charming. Could use some nice furniture in the main bedroom (has doll size nite stands and desk). Pillows are hard but the mattress was nice. The kitchen is loaded with everything you need to make your own meals. A nice patio/balcony with a nice table for meals. We all enjoyed our stay and will come back to stay here again. Thank you Geraldine.

Loveliest cottage by the sea

We are a family of 5 (3 teens) and had plenty of space. Impeccably clean, everything looks just as advertised. The location can’t be beat as you’re in the middle everything in Normandie. All the appliances are new and in perfectly good shape. We were welcomed by Géraldine who kindly gave us very useful information. The basics are included though we really didn’t cook, we saw salt, pepper, oils, vinegars, sugar, coffee, tea, laundry pods, etc, etc. The beds were so comfortable! Washer/Dryer! I could go on and on. I’m certainly recommending this beautiful home to anyone going to Normandie. So if you have not, book now and stay here. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

D-Day 80th Anniversay

D Day 80th Anniversary Geraldine and Ida were the best hosts and their property is true to the photos; charming and comfortable. We stayed at the property at a very busy time. Nevertheless, Geraldine went above and beyond for us. She obtained access passes on June 6th, so we could travel freely in Normandy during this historical occasion. Visitors without the pass would be turned away at all the D Day commemorative sites due to special commemoration ceremonies for the 80th anniversary. She helped secure bicycles for us so we could avoid the heavy car traffic due to the anniversary activities. That was perfect as we did not have to be in traffic to get from Port-en-Bessin Huppain to Colleville-sur-mer. That enabled us to reach a remote parking area and walk the length of Omaha Beach to the Les Braves monument unreachable on those days by car. When we arrived, we had a wonderful welcome package waiting for us of wine, cookies, chocolates, local Normandy information, maps of the town pointing out necessities like gas and groceries, as well as special schedules to all the D Day events being celebrated that week. Geraldine was also very communicative. We texted and spoke on several occasions. She was highly attentive. The departure instructions were clear and simple to follow, which made leaving the property very easy. It was a trip of a life time made all that more special because of our helpful and generous hosts. We highly recommend staying here.

This was the most fabulous property in the sweetest little town. I hope we get to return some day. It had everything you needed without being a big city. I felt comfortable walking around and let my kids wander without worry. The property was better than described and we had the most fabulous stay. Geraldine met us at the houses and went above and beyond to show us the lay of the area and had lots of suggestions for us. It was a fabulous stay and we will remember it forever.

Wonderful Stay!

Had a great stay here. Met by the gracious host and provided an overview of the property plus information about the community, attractions nearby, and excellent restaurant recommendations. The property itself is very clean and modern with plenty of space for a family or group. The location is near many sites in Normandy and easy to access. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Normandy.

Excellent emplacement.

Atout: emplacement central en ville et très bonne base pour explorer la région. Cuisine extrêmement bien équipée et maison très agréable à vivre. Propeté impeccable. Matelas et oreillers très fermes. La chambre du second etage n’a pas de porte (un rideau la fermant serait le bienvenu).

Wonderful break

This lovely house is ideally located for a couple or family. It was beautifully decorated and furnished and had everything we could need for our break. The host was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable giving visit, restaurant and shopping recommendations. We would stay again if we revisit Normandy.

Séjour très agréable, la maison est confortable et bien équipée. Elle est proche du centre-ville , des commerces et des restaurants, dans une rue calme. Great house in a great location.

This was the perfect location for 4 days in Normandy. It was centrally located to all the D-day beaches and an easy drive to Mt St Michel. Ida made it even more perfect by making dinner reservations and being available for any questions we might have.

Hidden Gem! Amazing Property & Gracious Host!

Our stay was awesome! The property was adorable and gave ample space for our family of 4. The host, Géraldine, went above and beyond our expectations. Her guides and recommendations made our trip that much more special. Port-en-Bessin-Huppain was a hidden gem! You will fall in love with the town. The people, shops, and the food!!! Great restaurants. Easy walk from this property. The off-street parking was never an issue. The kitchen was set up nicely. I wish I had booked extra days! Great stay!
