What makes this townhome unique

Our Townhouse centrally located with all of New York City's major attractions within easy reach, most of them in walking distance.Despite its location right in the middle of Manhattan, the apartment itself is very quiet , overlooking private gardens, which makes it a great place to come home to after an exiting day (or night) on the town.

Our immediate neighborhood, the Chelsea Gallery District boasts hundreds of Art Galleries and Restaurants that cater to every taste.

The Highline Elevated Park, Manhattan,s newest architectural Landmark is literally only steps away.

It is a great place to expierience the real New York and live like a real New Yorker.

Be back in a heartbeat - Matt & Deanna, Toronto

  • 5 of 5

I have never been one to write a review for vacation accommodation, but after spending just under a week at Michael & Catherine’s lovely Chelsea studio I felt strongly compelled to share my thoughts of my experience. It was the first time to New York for my girlfriend and I as a couple (we had both been several times on our own) so had already done the so called touristy things, this time we wanted to experience living like real New Yorkers. The amazing location of the studio certainly did help with this; we were in walking distance to everything we wanted to. Close to great restaurants and café’s.

The room itself was very tastefully decorated and was extremely clean on arrival. The view from the studio was quite special, it was just of a little garden but I thought that was quite special and unique for downtown Manhattan. The bed was very comfortable and was just perfect after the long hours we spent on our feet discovering Manhattan again.

Both my fiancé and I (I proposed at the end of our trip) would come back in a heartbeat and have not stopped praising the place to friends and family.

Home away from home in NYC.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Chelsea in this clean and tidy VRBO. The location is perfect. This apartment is located two blocks from a main subway line and an easy walk to the High Line Park and wonderful neighborhood restaurants. We found it so much more pleasant to stay here where we felt at home for a few days in NYC than in a hotel room. A quick trip to nearby Whole Foods and we had food items on hand to prepare with no need to rush out in the morning for coffee and breakfast unless we chose to do that. Arrangements for arrival with the owners were easily made and they were gracious the day of our departure to hold our luggage until afternoon to free us for some last minute sightseeing. We would happily return here for a future visit. Tips: Be aware there are two flights of stairs to ascend with your luggage. Enjoy The High Line Hotel for Intelligencia Coffee and a lovely outdoor space. Around the corner and down a block is The Cookshop which we highly recommend for any meal, delicious and healthy fare.

Beautiful, clean, safe and easy-access area

  • 5 of 5

My 9 year old daughter and I just returned from a 3-night stay. It was our first time in the city, and we had a fantastic time. The apartment was PERFECT for what we needed. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants on our first day when getting our bearings in the city. We cooked breakfast each morning in the well-equipped kitchen. There are a couple of main subway lines within a few blocks, and we felt safe walking from the subway back to the apartment even after a late show. Michael (owner) was helpful and kind. We loved feeling tucked away outside of the main hustle and bustle (and crowds) but close enough to access any part of the city easily! We would for sure stay here again!

The best ever!

  • 5 of 5

The studio was modern, generous size, well laid out and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well appointed. The location is great--close to the C and E trains at 23 St. There are plenty of places to shop for food or to eat out. I figure we saved a lot of money by not having to eat out 3 meals a day--just on coffee alone. The High Line is one block away--a real oasis in the city. Now to the best part: Michael and Catherine could not have been nicer or more helpful. We really felt like guests in their home. We look forward to our next stay with them!

Fabulous Rental...Marvelous Neighborhood and Location!

Michael gave us a friendly greeting and quick tour upon our arrival. Could not have asked for better accommodations for a couple. The Chelsea Neighborhood has a great vibe, delicious restaurants and quite walkable. We had a wonderful trip to NYC!
