I don’t think anyone doubts that the more you study what rentals and their rates are available, the better your decision will be in selecting just the one that meets your vacationing needs. I certainly hope you will do that until the ‘cows come in’. There is an important by-product to this studying process and that is learning about the area. You might even find yourself making up a ‘To Do List’…..something you didn’t think you would do for your vacation. I want to help you along in the process by adding two links below, the first one will talk about Barefoot Landing in particular and the second one, North Myrtle Beach in general.

You know, of course, the saying, ‘seeing is believing’ and its cousin, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’. VRBO allows us to display as many as 16 pictures, which we have done. The frosting on the cake is the video. This is a super way to tie in all the pictures. You can watch the video by clicking on the video icon above the first picture. Click once more….this time the play button that now appears where the picture was. Most owners are good at writing about their place and the area. We want our pictures and video to do our talking for us. We want to give you the feeling of actually picturing yourself there.

As we all try to work our way through the Recession, it has become increasingly important to making sure you are getting the nicest place possible for the lowest price. But most important is that it meets your needs. I am confident my rates will be among the lowest you can find, but it is important you ‘keep my feet to the fire’. If you find a lower rate, just email it to me with its web link so I can make sure it is ‘an apple to apple’ comparison. I’m going to try and beat the price you find by $50.

The owner has gone the extra mile in providing such things for the little ones like Cosco High Chair, Cosco Fun Sport Play Yard and Bright Stars Play Station.

When you make a reservation through VRBO/HomeAway there is a 5 to 9 per cent service fee charged. We handle our own reservations, emailing out Contracts and collecting rent. Because you are dealing directly with the owner you do NOT have to pay the service fee. In addition to the Rental Rate listed above there is an Accommodation Sales Tax (County, City, and State) of 12%. We do NOT use the 'Book It Now' feature offered by VRBO/HomeAway because once again we do not want you to have to pay the fee associated with it. Weeks at Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years have a $200 surcharge. We rent by the week only, Saturday to Saturday from June through August and November through March. The rest of the year there is a three day minimum stay. Rent for three months, January through March for $2995 and pay no accommodation tax. The housekeeping fee is $75. Bring your own linen/towels or rent ours for $75. When mailing in your Contract we request a 50% Advance Payment of the rent. Balance due 30 days before your visit. We prefer personal checks, but you may pay with a credit card through our PayPal account (5% service fee). We offer full refunds ($75 service fee.) if you need to cancel assuming we can secure a replacement. There is a refundable Security Deposit of $200. Questions? Please call Peter at 704-896-1995.

Car: Necessary

Perfect location to have a rental golf cart because it has to be stored in the garage in accordance with HOA rules. The Beach Shuttle in the summer is a nice option in getting to and from. Doesn't run on time and usually full. Upstairs at the Beach Cabana use is restricted to owners only. You can use the bathroom downstairs.

About: My name is Peter Cole, and I am the owner’s representative. I went to the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Presently live in Davidson, just outside of Charlotte, NC. I wear many hats: an oceanfront, resort, rental condo owner; property manager; rental agent; dog tender (That is Mazie in the picture. Spends most of her day on the rug by me at my desk.) and my favorite; loving husband to the beautiful woman in the picture with me. As a Medicare card carrying senior, I look back over a full life. My chosen life ‘occupation’ (my Mother could never bring herself to call it a 'job') was to take teens on a cross country camping trip; 3000 teens in all, spanning 33 years. My nephew, Doug Gill, slipped into my shoes as I stepped into my retirement. Now he has passed it on to Sassy Smyth. Curious? Do a google search, 'tctw'. My friends and relatives worried about my having too much time on my hands in retirement so they gave me their resort properties to manage. My reputation as a good manager/agent grew.
