Townhouse in the Havens Community of Barefoot Landing
I don’t think anyone doubts that the more you study what rentals and their rates are available, the better your decision will be in selecting just the one that meets your vacationing needs. I certainly hope you will do that until the ‘cows come in’. There is an important by-product to this studying process and that is learning about the area. You might even find yourself making up a ‘To Do List’…..something you didn’t think you would do for your vacation. I want to help you along in the process by adding two links below, the first one will talk about Barefoot Landing in particular and the second one, North Myrtle Beach in general.
You know, of course, the saying, ‘seeing is believing’ and its cousin, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’. VRBO allows us to display as many as 16 pictures, which we have done. The frosting on the cake is the video. This is a super way to tie in all the pictures. You can watch the video by clicking on the video icon above the first picture. Click once more….this time the play button that now appears where the picture was. Most owners are good at writing about their place and the area. We want our pictures and video to do our talking for us. We want to give you the feeling of actually picturing yourself there.
As we all try to work our way through the Recession, it has become increasingly important to making sure you are getting the nicest place possible for the lowest price. But most important is that it meets your needs. I am confident my rates will be among the lowest you can find, but it is important you ‘keep my feet to the fire’. If you find a lower rate, just email it to me with its web link so I can make sure it is ‘an apple to apple’ comparison. I’m going to try and beat the price you find by $50.
The owner has gone the extra mile in providing such things for the little ones like Cosco High Chair, Cosco Fun Sport Play Yard and Bright Stars Play Station.
I am very appreciative of you visiting our web site and considering our place. I look forward to providing any assistance possible as you search for the perfect vacation home to match your needs. DID YOU REMEMBER TO WATCH THE VIDEO? YOU CAN DO SO BY CLICKING ON THE VIDEO ICON ABOVE THE FIRST PICTURE, UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER.

About Peter Cole
My name is Peter Cole. I am the owner’s manager. I went to the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Presently live in Belmont, just outside of Charlotte, NC. I wear many hats: an oceanfront, resort, rental condo owner; property manager; rental agent; dog tender (That is Mazie in the picture. Spends most of her day on the rug by me at my desk.) and my favorite; loving husband to the beautiful woman in the picture with me. As a Medicare card carrying senior, I look back over a full life. My chosen life ‘occupation’ (my Mother could never bring herself to call it a 'job') was to take teens on a cross country camping trip; 3000 teens in all, spanning 33 years. My nephew, Doug Gill, slipped into my shoes as I stepped into my retirement. Now he has passed it on to Sassy Smyth. Curious? Do a google search, 'tctw'. My friends and relatives worried about my having too much time on my hands in retirement so they gave me their resort properties to manage. My reputation as a good manager/agent grew. Now 12 properties fill my stable. It was 1967 when I took ownership of my first rental property. In the years since, I have bought and sold 11. I come to you with a lot of experience. I do not take lightly the importance of your vacation. I want to match your needs with the properties I represent. There are 24 pictures, a video and lots of verbiage. I am here to answer all your questions.
Peter Cole purchased this Townhome in 2007

My wife and 2 kids stayed here for 9 days and really enjoyed this condo. We had bad weather for the first few days but the condo is so big and spacious that we didn't feel on top of each other. All the beds were very comfortable and having 3.5 baths is a big help when coming back to shower after a long day at the beach or water park. Peter was extremely helpful in his communications before our trip and everything went as smooth as possible. We highly recommend this unit if you have a family and want a nice quiet place in Barefoot Resort that is close to everything!! We will definitely rent here again our next visit to Barefoot.
We appreciate you considering our place for your vacation. I'm partial as you might expect, as I'm sure other owners are as well to their property. Always better to trust past renters since they are in the same boat you are.
April 2017 vacation
Great spot! Very spacious!
Great location! Clean and Peter and Vince are excellent to deal with.
KS bed downstairs was very comfortable! Pillows were not great and I did bring my own pillow. Hubby didn't but he probably will next year.
Only couple of things we wished we had were use of the Grill but was locked up and unable to use. The pool area was too far to go down to grill and carry food back. (May try to get a little habachi to use with briquettes next year)
The new TV was awesome in living but the switching to stations was a pain as there is no guide to look at and then click. (Just a rolling Guide and 9.5 times out of 10 when you did so it was past stations and you had to wait to see things and write down what you might watch...Wasted a lot of time and missed parts of show by doing this.
Kitchen had most things needed but good size frying pan and salad bowls would be nice. ( I will bring next year though)
Not enough placemats for dining room table so I bought myself a tablecloth that I took home as I would never want to eat there without one. I like to take care of wood tables by using tablecloths and hot trays and coasters.
Other than those couple of things townhouse was very well stocked in kitchen.
Thanks so much and look forward to returning next year!!!!
This place was perfect for our family of six. The kids had room to spread out, loved having a TV in their room and really enjoyed the feeling of being in a "home" for vacation. it was a place you enjoyed coming back to after a long day out in the sun and activities. We will definitely rent here again. And kudo's to Vince, he was not aware we purchased the linen package and he was over within hours to make the beds and deliver towels! Appreciated his fast response time!
My family stayed in this condo the week of July 11 - July 18 2015. The condo was large and clean. It was really nice having 3.5 bathrooms! The facilities at Barefoot are outstanding. The pool is great. And there is of course.... the beach! The property manger, Peter Cole, was a pleasure to deal with and my security deposit arrived within a week of checking out. I would definitely rent this unit again when we need a unit with a lot of space.
First Time to Myrtle Beach & it won't be the last thanks to this Rental!
This was my families first trip to Myrtle Beach - when searching for a rental this location looked amazing, I hoped as we neared SC it would be all that the pictures portrayed. We were all SO excited when the property was EXACTLY as shown. It was our home away from home and made our vacation truly enjoyable. The peacefulness of the location made it great for a morning run or an evening stroll. The pool in the immediate community was fantastic, and the large pool was enjoyable however, if you wanted chairs you needed to arrive very early. It's far enough away so you can really relax but close enough that you don't have to ride forever to the beach or other attractions.
Peter, Vince and everyone we interacted with were truly wonderful. We will definitely be back!
Excellent Property and Location!
We just got back from staying at this property and we truly hated to leave. We traveled with another couple and can honestly say that everything is exactly as pictured. The townhouse is located within reasonable distance of everything. We had a slight issue with the A/C and Peter and Vince were on top of it right away. We are already planning to visit Myrtle Beach again and will definitely stay at this property! We highly recommend the Cali Baker's Firehouse Pub & Grill on US17 (it can be easily missed, but has great food and is a tribute to fireman, police, etc.) and Bonefish Grill which was an upscale but reasonable priced restaurant. Medieval Times was great as well! We recommend staying away from Benjamin's Calabash Seafood.... not worth the money! And if you are looking for property to buy, visit Century 21 as Barefoot Realty isn't very helpful!
Perfect location to have a rental golf cart because it has to be stored in the garage in accordance with HOA rules. The Beach Shuttle in the summer is a nice option in getting to and from. Doesn't run on time and usually full. Upstairs at the Beach Cabana use is restricted to owners only. You can use the bathroom downstairs.
